As title says, who has been the worst team we have played in the prem?
I haven't seen much of Southampton so my vote goes to Leicester. Last season we had two really tough games against them, and they seem to have regressed significantly since then. We can talk about the penalty that wasnt all day, but we shouldve been 3 nil up by then and it be moot. |  | | |  |

Oddly, I'm going with Chelsea.
Given their league position, squad depth and quality - I really thought they were poor. Yes, we worked hard to make it tough for them to play and did a great job on them but in comparison to Liverpool, City etc. they were very poor. |  |

I think Leicester are the worst team in the league by quite a bit tbh, a real annoyance about or game v them being marred by catastrophic refereeing.
Of the existing Prem teams Wolves looked like a bunch of good players badly coached, Brighton looked like they had too many good players and didn't know what to do with them and Palace were very uninspiring but got the job done. |  | | |

I don't think we actually played that well ourselves against Leicester and should have done more to put them to bed before the ref got a chance to ruin the game. However, I agree that they looked rubbish, certainly a lot worse than the iteration we faced last season.
Equally Southampton looked a lot worse than last season and that was a weird game where both goals came in halves where the other team looked stronger. If we hadn't have conceded a sloppy goal and instead gone ahead first I'm pretty confident we'd have won that one comfortably. |  |

Certainly the last 10 mins against them were horrendous from us. Sat back, panicked and ultimately ballsed it up. A vital 2 points dropped. |  |

No, we did well against them but rode our luck at times with the offside goal, free kick hitting the post etc. They were not the worst team I have seen us play, I thought Everton and Leicester were both poor sides helped by our own and the referee’s ineptitude. |  | | |

Leicester are the worst team we've played. I still have some residual anger about what happened in that game!
No arguing with the table and Southampton's dismal showing though, and they will finish comfortably bottom of the pile.
Everton and Palace both looked very limited against us, but did exactly what they needed to get a result. Everton look horrible every time I see them - just a dreadful team to watch and so lacking in quality in the final third. |  |

Palace were bloody awful. I just remember that chance they had clean through, any other Prem team would have scored, game over, and they didnt even get a shot off, it went out for a throw in.

they werent that poor, they lacked some cohesion and got frustrated too easily.
But I dont think anyone at that game felt remotely comfortable even with a 2 goal lead, any of those ricohets/rebounds from blocks goes marginally differently and they were right back in it, that to me isnt the sign of a poor team. | | | |

I thought Southampton were absolutely terrible aside from three attacks which all nearly led to goals.
If we’d have been remotely at it that day we could have beaten them comfortably but every pass that day was a yard short and we had so many players who were well below their best. | | | |

I'd have to say Leicester. For all their fans still going on about how much better their squad is than ours, it was lacking and they only got a point due to the balls up from the occials. I am still angry over that. Aside from them, Everton have not impressed any time I have seen them. Southampton are rightly bottom and offer very little (I wonder if Downes is regretting his move?) mainly due to the floppy haired fraud
Though saying that, some teams have conned refs into being better than they are - the diving and cheating antics of Jota (how many times did the sniper go for him), Cucarella, most of the Chelsea squad and Ooderguard | | | |

Just based on the 90 minutes against us..
Worst:
1) Wolves. Thought they were truly terrible.
2) Leicester. Really poor.
3) Southampton. Very poor even against us in one of our worst performances.
4) Man U. Thought they were the worst of the non relegation threatened teams by a mile.
Best:
1) Bournemouth. By a long way that second half was the best I’ve seen this season from any team.
2) Newcastle. They looked a really good side I thought. For the whole game actually. Incredibly professional display even at 4-0 up when they eased off a bit.
3) Liverpool. Again second half just very good.
4) Fulham. Thought we were excellent that day but Fulham on the ball in my view right up there with teams we’ve played this season. |  |
