I wasn't saying that they shouldn't be considered as managers. There are some jobs PE teachers shouldn't do but being an ex-PE teacher shouldn't preclude you from managing a professional football team or being in day to day charge of one. [Post edited 3 Dec 2020 14:18]

Bit on Lee's background in the below. He is very much one of us with his father Tommy having been a member of the 1975 Youth Cup-winning side.
Although I thought his comments re TWTD the other day were somewhat dismissive and factually incorrect, I think to a great extent he's caught in the middle of this situation rather than being the instigator of it.
Following the below he was appointed academy manager in 2016 and then general manager of football operations around Christmas 2019.
