i suppose it may have been the way the linesman was treated in our game at their place *. he was scared to give off side. got away with a sending off at our place. also i think the linesman was drop kicked at the end of the game against peterborough also most town fans like barnsley after the way their fans behaved after our wembly win against them

Honestly waveney I agree with the general thrust of your message.
This was the first L1 playoffs I've watched in my 28 years. It felt right to see out the season and the entertainment's been superb. I'd never heard of Owlstalk before this season, didn't realize their Attendance FC status and truthfully thought they were returning to their modern day 'level' with the relegation! I've since learnt they get good gates and have been down on their luck for a long time. They have their sh!theads and we have our Fashanu chanters. Today's a sucker-punch for Barnsley and neutrals but it happens a lot in football.
Now it's officially done, I'm really looking forward to mixing it again with the clubs I've experienced facing most of my life. It will probably take some people longer to shake off the L1 lurgy because it's been a crazy season and 4 years is a long stint, but we will all reset our sights soon enough. This is also the first and last year I open up opponents' forums, what a predictable waste of time that has been 😂 | | | |

Agree with this and Ryorry’s comments. I’ve got on well with Wednesdayites I’ve met in previous years, but their sense of arrogance and entitlement has ground my gears this season.
Did they deserve to go up? On the strength of 46 games yes. But the rules say 3-6 play off. That’s the rules. And SW cheated and luckied their way through today.
And they’re not the biggest club in the world. They weren’t even the biggest club in L1 based on av support. That was Derby. |  | | |

Personally I think their fans are a bunch of entitled whingeing crybabies and their players are cheating yobs, but I couldn't really care less because they'll be straight back down again, which will be all the funnier. They have one of the nicest men in football at the helm, play some of the ugliest football, in the most most effective way, with some deluded fans.
That sums them up for me.
Having said that, they were incredibly effective in L1 and deserved promotion over a season - may well struggle with that style against better quality opposition though. |  | | |

Well again it’s a matter of opinion. Yep they went 23 games unbeaten and finished 3rd itv a record 96 points but again and it’s my opinion , their football is archaic and really not enjoyable to watch. They simply bully people which surely doesn’t lend itself to the masses which is why there is so much distain towards them | |
