Him introducing it by saying he thought previous fan forums were a waste of time and that if you have an “agenda” to essentially leave. This is hilarious

With the club so divided, Moore actually worked a miracle to get them promoted. They look a disjointed mess. One or two at the forum chucked out too, though that may have been down to a drink or two.

All the indications are that Moore wasn't promised investment so he walked, and now Chansiri has set the top six as a minimum target.
Who on earth would take on that job now? It's hardly an attractive proposition to be given an ageing squad and no money and be told it's playoffs or bust.

It is if you're on the way out and wanting to pad the retirement account.
Could easily see one of the old guard in there. Nice 3 year deal and sacked after a season at most. Sign me up.
Even stranger considering their situation now , I was at a BBQ up here on Saturday with a bunch of them all suggesting they're bound for a top 6 finish next season and all very up beat ( before Moore's announcement of course ).
They are the most delusional fanbase I've ever met - simple

Utterly bonkers. They ran out of steam badly in League 1 and their long unbeaten run was built on 1-0 wins in tight games against not very good opposition. They needed a good dose of fortune to scrape through the play offs, they have no money to strengthen, no manager either now, and they see themselves as play off contenders? They are going to be in for a rude awakening next season I think. Can easily see them coming straight back down.

The guys I mention are really nice types as well. Essentially they are the parents of the lads who the Step Son plays football with on Sunday mornings
If otherwise I'd totally understand but they are straight faced when they say these things as well - it's not even tongue in cheek or bravado
It's got a very similar feeling to the whole Evans thing here not so long ago.
Many seeing that he is going to bring the club down, a similar amount coming out with, "He keeps the club viable", "I don't see people queuing up to buy us"
That ended up with us sliding toward L2 until GC20 stepped in. I don't think we should be quite so quick to giggle at Wednesday, looks to me like DM pulled off promotion with one hand tied behind his back.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still not keen on the Wednesday fans, but I think its an awful thing when clubs with big histories like us and Wednesday end up owned by people like Evans and Chansiri.

They've got 14 contracted players and barely a pot to p!ss in to sign others.

Makes sense for Moore to want to leave on that basis - get out now off the back of a promotion with stick relatively high rather than wait for the inevitable struggle to get close to the chairman's ambitions and get the sack part way through the season.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.
“If I say top two, it’s too much,” Chansiri said. “For me, minimum play-offs. That’s what we need to do. Then it’s 50/50, we don’t know. In the play-offs, anybody can lose or win.

Makes you wonder how many players are actively looking to leave before August

Wait until he finds out that every league match is also 50/50 and anybody can win or lose.
Really, the playoffs are famously 25/75.

Good summary of everything here. I do feel a bit sorry for them in fairness.
"Chansiri offers a refund to fans if we can sell 30,000 season tickets - something that factually isn’t possible with the current capacity cap at the stadium…"
