the show was actually FIngerbobs, featuring Fingermouse, a seagull called Gulliver, a tortoise and (randomly) a scampi !

Although Fingermouse got ideas above his station and launched his own spin-off which bombed after one series thus ending his showbiz career. Probably now living in a trailer park somewhere having Special Brew for breakfast
