Brentford eying El Mizouni 12:52 - Jan 26 with 4084 views | itfcjoe | Brentford, with an incredible record of recruitment in recent years, pushing strongly for the PL are looking at Idris. Currently training with the U23s for us, as being punished for wanting to come back from Cambridge where he wasn't playing enough

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 12:58 - Jan 26 with 2922 views | Bluefish | The Idris and the Armando probably won't as any surprised for people that have seen them play especially you. Proper natural talent, utter utter madness that we aren't trying to develop them into the 1st team. If we don't build around the academy we will never grow above a level of top league 1 or bottom championship again

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 12:58 - Jan 26 with 2922 views | Churchman | Brentford would be a massive step up for him. A real culture shock too, going to a progressive well run club. He’d be mad not to grab the opportunity if it comes to him. How depressing that we cannot compete with Brentford ffs.

We won't be able to compete with the likes of Salford at this rate - and I am being genuine. Look at the list of clubs that have outsmarted us over the past 14 years.
Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:02 - Jan 26 with 2858 views | MrTown | The best recruiter in the Championship right now wants to recruit a player who can’t even get into our League 1 squad - because the manager is punishing him. The Lambert Era - summed up.

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:05 - Jan 26 with 2833 views | unstableblue | It’s a disgrace this player won’t be on the bench tonight, and isn’t being developed as a player. One of my biggest fears is that we have one of the best crops of youth players I can remember - Wolf, Downes, Dozzell, Bishop, Lankester, Dobra, our Indonesian starlet - and it’s going to get broken and not exploited. Loanees? The line about Brentford’s scientific approach to recruitment was also telling... our club structure is akin to a pub side rather than a modern and progressive footballing outfit. I almost want us to lose tonight.

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:06 - Jan 26 with 2831 views | homer_123 | Something isn't right here. Struggled to get game time this time around at Cambridge - not a sniff of first team football here and Brentford want him. I think we can safely say that they'll not see him as a first team footballer yet though. It's odd that he's not getting game time here tough, given Lambert has thrown in Gibbs for example and Dobra has been nothing if ordinary. Why El Miz isn't being given a chance is clearly down to Lambert.

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:06 - Jan 26 with 2813 views | Pinewoodblue | Be interesting too see how Dyer and Butcher motivate the players apparently rejected. For the moment, by Lambert. At least two of these players should have been in the 18 for tonight’s game. We are not taking full advantage of the fact we can make five substitutions we ought to have dynamic players who will run at Sunderland for the last 20 minutes on the bench for every game. Don’t think any of the three subs used against P’boro fitted that description. Edit apologies to Thomas I was thinking about the other dynamic two, Nolan & Sears. [Post edited 26 Jan 2021 13:11]

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:10 - Jan 26 with 2759 views | NthQldITFC | This club has been self-harming for a good while now, and it's the sort of thing that gets worse without those close to it necessarily seeing it very clearly for what it is. Alienating our players, let alone our most talented youngsters is frankly nothing short of insane and I hope Marcus has made his decision and acts on it immediately.

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:11 - Jan 26 with 2750 views | ChiefXL | Whilst I get the general gist, he didn't exactly set the world on fire at Cambridge either. Lambert is a clown, that's a given but Cambridge have a pretty progressive thinking coach and he regularly picked an eighty year old Wes Hoolahan over Idris. Just not convinced we should all be losing our minds over what is effectively a rumour?
Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:14 - Jan 26 with 2704 views | MonkeyAlan | If true then Lambert is a bigger cnt than l even gave him credit for. Evans will sell if he can anyway. He is only interested in what he can make from what assets we have got left. The Brentford model is what he should be looking at. Coming to something when they are now a bigger club than us. Evans you muppet.

The difference is a loan club should be looking at what the player adds for that game so often will go for the steady reliable 7/10 player. The owning club should be nurturing potential and therefore going for the lottery of a 5/10 or a 9/10 on the basis of development

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:19 - Jan 26 with 2639 views | Herbivore | I thought he looked quality early last season when he was around the first team picture. Then as the likes of Nolan and Judge got back to fitness he dropped down Lambert's pecking order and went to Cambridge. His first spell there he was excellent by all accounts and he had decent preseason leading up to this season too, but then found himself shipped out again. Our midfield has totally lacked the kind of dynamism he can bring, especially when Bishop has been missing from it. Even then I think he demands the ball a bit more than Bishop does so tends to be more involved. It's clear he's got bags of potential, that we're freezing him out is a total disgrace and indicative of what an absolutely terrible manager Lambert is in every single respect.

Brentford eying El Mizouni on 13:21 - Jan 26 with 2631 views | IpswichKnight | Well hopefully the fraud will be sacked by 10am tomorrow and we’ll have someone who is vaguely competent in who will see some of the talent we have and this will become a moot point.

No, we won’t. Our progression downwards is inevitable and unless something miraculous happens (Evans goes) unstoppable.

I honestly think we can't really judge any players under the current system and manager. I don't think it's a coincidence that a lot of players leave here and go on to produce a lot more than they did whilst playing for us.

It's a crime that we are not encouraging these youngsters and bring them in to be part of the 1st team squad , they bring something different . Our 1st team are far too slow and predictable . Adding to this , we bring in fringe players from other clubs on loan , so add to the wages and get them up to speed and fitness for them to return to their parent clubs .......that can't make economic sense when we have our own young players already .

Woolfenden regularly watched by Premier League scouts Jackson was wanted by recently relegated from the Prem Bournemouth. Shame of those 6 players we rarely get to see more than half on the pitch at any one time.
