Well hands up from me....I was wrong and so was what I was hearing regarding the takeover having stalled.
So apologies to all those I said it wasn't likely to happen until at least divisional status was confirmed.
Anyway happy to be wrong. I still have plenty of reservations but very happy that there can be a new start and I like any fan really hope this is the start of a new dawn.
Plenty to be excited about but I will still carry a little trepidation.

Nothing like that! It had stalled, would have been done a while ago if it had been on track.
The source who had given me the other info wasn't aware that things had moved on as suggested. I did have another good source message me to say it was back on at the weekend and I and another board user were even looking into ORG as a result of that. But I was hearing too much conflicting info, even this morning when I'd got a story written to say it was done was being told by people I would assumed to have known if it was done that it wasn't. |

Glad you must be having great senses of excitement and don't have to disappear for a month!!
I still have my concerns, and still don't see how a pension fund can invest in a football club...i mean seriously how many clubs return profit, even when they are successful but not the time to worry about that now.
A new start, and new hope...fingers crossed we get out of this division next season, as I don't think it will happen this year. I'd hope this would give the squad fresh inpetus for the remainder of the season with so much to play for but the players seem to know they are not part of this new start,(even more so if we did get promoted) and maybe that's another reason they are not performing. | |
