When I looked at the story, & accompanying photo of PR, on the BBC site just now, I was reminded of what a beautiful ground it actually is. I wonder if the attractiveness of it, and the large new stands with obviously plenty of potential for bringing bigger crowds in, were partly what helped persuade the consortium into the takeover? |  |

I've heard it suggested that the club would ultimately be better off moving the academy to the other side of town, nearer London to help with recruitment, although not aware that there have been serious plans for that.
I would guess as things stand there are complications relating to what is first-team land and what's academy. The Playford Road side was originally the academy side and Bent Lane the first team. | | | |
