Excellent. Continues to show we mean business. I really hoped we'd get in a new keeper so now this is a certainty. I don't mind Holy being the No.2 keeper but neither Holy or Cornell were good enough to wear the no.1 Jersey.
I think Holy will stay as back up or at least to change lightbulbs at the training ground. I fully expect to see more mutual terminations once a few more signings come through the door. I'd say Hawkins, Lankester and Ndaba potentially could be the victims.

Would we pay him off it its mutual?
“Yes. That’s what…killing you means.”
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
For this to happen you'd think we'd have a keeper close, he's got a deal with another club (probably at a club paying less, hence he's taking some sort of pay-off here) or most likely both.

I have just been made aware of David TPM Cornell contract termination and must say how disappointing this news is.
TPM was a more than handy backup goalie who never let us down when he turned out, the ability to consume vast amounts of beer before matches and save a penalty is commendable and I think the club are letting him go just because he is a maverick.
He also enjoyed sinking numerous beers during lockdowns and was always up for a holiday in the sun at all inclusive hotels.
In what has been a terrible year for the hospitality trade the loss of TPM from the club is only going to impact the local economy further. The only good to come from this is that the leaving do will be something that goes down in the history of ITFC

Because that's what mutual consent means - otherwise it would have been terminated, or 'ripped up'
well that's changed then, used to be if terminated it would include fees, Mutual meant there was an agreement between the two parties to move on for the best of both parties and no fees involved.
Oh well, which ever, good for David and the club to sort it now and move on.
