Leicester Square brewing up trouble. Hundreds here. Men throwing pint glasses into the air, trees ripped up, flares, bottles thrown at windows. It’s not even 2pm.
Folks this is one of several disturbing scenes I’ve seen around London; sadly if England Win tonight I believe there will be hell on our streets I believe if we lose there will be hell on our streets; what is it with some of our football fans? MORONIC! 🤷â€â™‚ï¸pic.twitter.com/XTyeGrqoFt
Fook me, how dramatic can you get? Attentoon seeking cock. Him not you.
Norman Brennan and the so called 'Victims of Crime Trust' are the nearest UK equivalent to police unions in the US. Notorious sh1t stirrers, highly selective in what they amplify.
So embarrassing.. there should have been a blanket ban on travel to London without reasonable excuse or a ticket.., it’s going to get way out of control.
Excited idiots absolutely bladdered. Not condoning it but it was always going to happen. 8pm kick off on a Sunday. What were people expecting?
I was in Barcelona when they won the World Cup in 2010, didn't see scenes like this before or after the game there. I was in France when they lost on penalties to Italy in 2006, they all went home, city was deserted within the hour. There are other countries (esp in Eastern Europe) who like England have the misfortune to attract morons who associate themselves with the national team but it does not happen in every country. Even though you are not condoning it let's not kid ourselves that this is normal, it is not.
Very quiet here in Wales if that’s any help! Not that anyone would be surprised of course. People are talking about it, but as a low priority. My best estimate from people I’ve spoken to is that it’s 50/50 whether people are going to watch it, and 90/10in favour of wanting Italy to win.

And not a Met Police officer in sight there. They didn't have any trouble turning up en masse to roughly manhandle & drag away women conducting a peacful vigil to remember a murder victim though. One law for them apparently, quite another for a bunch of drunken louts on the rampage

Whilst not disagreeing that a number of English "fans" acted like d*cks tonight, there has been trouble on the continent in recent years and there were probably a lot worse scenes (at the time of posting) after the match in Paris after they lost to Portugal in the last euros.
