The big news being that Barnsley have leapfrogged Plymouth with that win.

I have a feeling this won't be a million miles off. Think Wednesday will drop points at some stage, the spawny 1-0 wins can't last forever and they've got a few tough games left.

No idea, it's just a statistical likelihood, based on form. Will probably be in the last game at Fleetwood, with our bacon saved by a late Port Vale equaliser.

Hoping that Manning will turn it around for the Oxen. Accrington or Cheltenham replacing them in the bottom 4 would be preferable to me.

To be fair, I wouldn’t begrudge Sheff Wed taking the highest ever league points record. It feels wasted that such a nothing club like Reading holds that (current record is 106).

In saying that, Wednesday have obviously been very good this season, but in neither of our games have they looked like a record breaking team?

No-one has ever scored 91 points and not achieved automatic promotion in the history of the football league so that would be tough on Barnsley and Plymouth (again)

Wow, 111 points would be a remarkable achievement.

Hope you’re right about us finishing second.

I think Wiccum will pip Bolton to 6th.

And don’t think Oxford will get relegated. I reckon it will be Accy instead.

I would very much begrudge Wednesday taking this after they stole both draws against us. Firstly with the appalling behaviour of the fans causing the linesman to be afraid for his life and not ruling out their offside goal, and then for not getting the red card for that elbow on Burns. And although I didn't watch the away game, in the home game we totally outplayed them and were very unlucky not to win. They certainly do not deserve to take the record for most points in a league season in my opinion, although I would still accept this league ranking of course, because it means we go up in second. Then we get our revenge in the championship next year.

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

Whilst agreed that the non red card and pelting the lino leaves a sour taste, I’m not sure we can really claim to have out played them on either game to be honest, apart from a spell in the second half at Portman Road. On balance two draws is probably pretty fair, although the manner of them feels a bit rough.

The away game we largely controlled and could have had a third on the break if not for the referee bricking it and failing to play advantage when we were more or less three on one. That and the offside goal combined suggest we were unlucky not to win that one. Outplayed is strong but I'd say over the two games, 4 points for Town would be a fairer reflection of the balance of those games.
