You'd have a point of I'd never shown how utterly appalled by the immigration bill I am, or ever show disgust at this government' treatment of refugees.

Don't let facts get in the way when it comes to trying to defend Corbyn. It's not an easy task for his adoring faithful.

I've never seem Leitrim once condemn Corbyn for his role in Labour being found guilty of discriminating against Jewish members by the EHRC. Or any of the numerous examples of antisemitism and holocaust denial I highlighted on here for years. Not once.

Seen him jump to Corbyn's defence every single time though.

What is it about the terrorist supporting antisemistm enabler Corbyn that appeals to you so much?

Wow, great come back man. Probably the same reason you fear him so much. I liked the thought of genuine social change and someone actually attempting to improve the life's of the poorest in society

You mean all those things that would have seen Corbyn expelled from the Labour Party if they were true?

Funny that.

And you'd have been happy to throw the British Jewish community under the bus to achieve that. Nice.

And therein lies the problem. In 2019 Labour won 921778 more votes than in 2015, and 701462 more votes than is 2005. Yet people such as yourself shout from the rafters that 2019 was the worst labour election result since 1935. That's a sham of a democracy.

Surely we have to see how the next election plays out in that regard? Because I was one of the votes despite being far to the right of Corbyn and sure there will be lots of votes of people far to the left of Starmer

Labour piled on votes where it didn't really matter to strengthen margins of victories in cities, you have to play the game to the system that is in place

Translated as “Jews don’t count”.

Plenty of people voted Labour last election with a heavy heart. Some held their noses when doing so. Many voted Labour but were appalled at Corbyn overseeing a culture of antisemitism, that saw Labour being found guilty by the EHRC.

Very few of those Labour voters stayed silent on the issue, failed to accept and address the conclusions reached by the EHRC or failed to utter one word of condemnation. Sadly, you are one of those few.

That’s why I didn’t vote for the Conservatives at the last election. We had the choice between an incompetent racist and a racist incompetent.

I couldn’t bring myself to vote for either.

Edit. And you’ve pretty much lost the argument when you refer to Johnson as my “mate”. Then again you lost it when you doubted my commitment to refugees earlier in the thread,

I’ll leave it there.

You’re right. I am a natural Conservative. I’ve been a member of the conservative party for most of my adult life. Yet I still refused to cast a vote for the conservatives under Boris Johnson in 2019 and have voted Labour in both the council and Scottish elections. That wasn’t easy. But it was the principled and right thing to do.

But you carry on with the playground insults.

labour's worst defeat since 1935 is what scared me most. boris with a huge majority.

so what did you think was corbyn's greatest success? the ehrc findings or the electoral wipe out?

And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show
