Stonewall Penalty 19:18 - Jan 13 with 8660 views | DublinBlue84 | No touch on the ball whatsoever. Total disgrace. Not sure how the feck the sky commentator can say he got a touch when the pictures show otherwise

Baffling. The only way that the advantage is used there is if the ball ends up in the back of the net.

Frankly abysmal punditry. I really don’t know why people who are clearly partisan are allowed to commentate eg carragher
Stonewall Penalty on 19:55 - Jan 13 with 4679 views | Nutkins_Return | One in both games against them now. I can't remember another side where we get such horrible decisions against us. That pen and Red card in league one as well. Awful. The Jackson red was probably just about a red in L1 but also harsh. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

To be fair, Watson wouldn't have been able to see it on TV, which clearly showed he didn't win the ball. The commentators on Sky have no such excuse.

That is the most bizarre "Abuse reported" I have ever seen in 30ish years of TWTD. Can only assume that the Refs Mum set up an account specially for that one!

While there are quite a few Refs whose parentage we may doubt, we all have Mum's, Laggy. Unless you are suggesting that tonight's Ref is an Axolotl...?

The advantage was played and we had the shot. That’s the advantage. You cannot bring back play because he didn’t score with the shot

There's nothing more advantageous than a pen. And plenty of moves get brought back when advantage is played but it leads to nothing.

I didnt think the rules allowed you to play advantage for a foul inside the penalty area, it was a either penalty or its not a foul at all, theres no well you got lucky youve still got the ball addendum to it. but I still work on the rulebook that made sense, god knows what version they use now with VAR or the one the ref used in that game.
Stonewall Penalty on 09:26 - Jan 14 with 3211 views | Herbivore | Absolutely ridiculous non-decision. He also missed Jackson getting elbowed in the face by O'Nien. He blew up and booked (mostly our) players for fairly innocuous stuff but totally bottled the big decisions. That Goodman tried to claim he was right not to give anything for both incidents was just embarrassing, the guy has it in for us for some reason as he's like this every time he's on co-comms when we play.

Absolutely this... the rugby example is a bit extreme but if an advantage is awarded there they retain the penalty until the ref deems it over?.... surely any sane person would conclude a penalty award in the box can only be bettered on advantage by a goal?
