Right now you can take a Euros24 England triumph or Ipswich to stay up for the next two seasons. Which do you take?

Silly question, Ipswich. Who cares about England

Not a bad front line this time around, is it? I'd be happy enough to see them here at Towen! Or just let us have Foden. He's turning into a sublime player.

Him and Palmer are phenomenal players.

Palmer is in incredible form and I hope he gets the necessary minutes to show that.

Few days before a tournament I’m normally so engrossed, fat les on the Alexa etc…

But I’m so footballed out after these two seasons… I haven’t really thought about it. I’m sure once we get to the knockouts that I’ll change my views. But it’s that bad I’m missing the Denmark game to go and have an 80th bday dinner with one of my wife’s clients! (Admittedly he owns the biggest house in Dedham, and was the CEO of Walls ice cream, so the grub should be incredible!)

I’ve gone way off track… I’m picking Ipswich all day long.

I've pretty much lost all interest in football apart from the Towen. It's been a slow erosion of what was once a massive passion for me. Money, too much football, big clubs etc were some of the reasons that I just got bored of it.

It's almost disappointed that I have to taken an interest in the Premier League now.

Bit of a rubbish choice. I think we're staying up, comfortably, so I'll go for England winning the Euros.

Had it been Ipswich to finish top 6 I'd go for that.

England win for sure, if we went down we would bounce straight back anyway and it would be good to go down with a better squad and spank Norwich on the way back up as well.

Ipswich obviously.

The vast majority (if not all) on here spend £000s following ITFC around the country.

Why would we choose England who most at best go to a handful of games. (appreciate we have some who are regular at England games as well).

No question about it - Town for sure. Two seasons in Prem could mean establishment there ultimately

If it was a choice of Ipswich staying up for 2 seasons for England losing all 3 group games and not winning a competitive match for 10 years, I would choose our blue boys.

Ipswich for me every time.

Same as me bruv, same as me. I've never been very interested in England, and Town success on any level is infinitely more important to me than anything Engerland do. It changes a little when Town players make up the bulk of the England squad, perhaps?

Interesting that virtually every response here is the same. I suspect it's magnified now by what and where Town are at this time, but I would say it's usually 90/10 club over country amongst proper* fans anyway.

I too am a little bit disappointed, if that's the right word, about certain aspects of us being in the Premier League Ship next year. I'm currently working on a wearable, real-time, AI-driven hype removal filter.

Sounds absolutely mental, but I’ve spent so long gagging for us to go up, that now we are there I’ve lost a bit of something… as I don’t know what to wish/aim for now.

If England not winning a game for the next 20 years meant Ipswich getting a draw instead of a defeat: sorry England, I’ll take the point.

Whereas I bleed blue.

Ipswich every single time.

Amazed by anyone choosing England personally. Club everytime for me

England winning a tournmanent would feel good and be a fun celebration for 24 hours in the aftemath but after that its all over really. International football just doesn't get me excited in the same way ipswich does. Ipswich literally consumes me everyday and staying up would be a season worth of joy and beauty, not a couple of good weeks in the sun.

"Proper fans" you're having a laugh.
My therapist told me that to have closure for losing to Germany in Euro 96 I need to watch a young German boy cry after we beat them in the final. My boy is half German, but he says that he doesn't mind who wins out of the two.

Stay up for two seasons sounds like relegation in the third season.
