Roll call, roll call… Manchester City (a) 09:34 - Aug 23 with 6167 viewsSitfcB

Who was lucky enough to get one of the 3,000 tickets then?

Leaving at 8 on the train, weather looks miserable in Manchester until early afternoon.

With regards to the game, let’s all hope for the best eh, football is a funny ole game etc etc but can’t see passed a 4-0 win for City, that or anything less would be good, but just never know if we can pick up a goal on the break and keep them at bay for as long as possible, there is usually a freak result at the Etihad now and then.

Yep, could only get upper tier(!).

Parking £17 is the cheapest we could find!

Yes, up in the gods!

Getting picked up at 8, then long journey up!

Anything under 5-0 and it's a good result.

Me + 1, seem to remember last time I went it was a Tuesday night, we beat them 1-0 and when we left the away end they were just randomly swinging punches at us.

Not making any predictions on this one, but I just hope we give a good account of ourselves as it will be a huge confidence boost if we do.

Park somewhere on the tram network and get the tram to the ground, they're much cheaper than £17.

We're driving down from Edinburgh so it feels like this is just down the road at only 3.5hrs to get there!

Setting off in minibus at 7am, should rock up into Manchester around midday. Hopefully find a pub and just enjoy the day competing against the best in the world.

Did think of that, but queues for the tram after the game are likely to enormous.

if we can't beat Man city, may as well pack it in and resign ourselves to relegation.

Oh yes, shorts and town top for as long into the season as possible.

Probably not, going the cheap route Peterborough then Doncaster on the way, direct to Peterborough on the way back.

If you used, eg Sale Water Park, you could walk back into town, and then get on an airport tram from city centre.

As a heads up, tram network is currently a mess, as we had mega winds last night, and theres a few trees down across the network. Would imagine it will be fine by tomorrow, but might be worth checking.

Shhhhhshh..

No luck, so got in with the away supporters, intend to boo and whinge about every 'slightly' missplaced pass by City and every time the run isn't quite right. See if I can spread discontent.

(Have a feeling those moments may be few and far between) surely even they're getting bored of winning now and anything other than perfection should be greeted with a boo
