From what I gather he is one we moved on to at weekend when Broja deal was up in the air, and think AB is/was still first choice but we need to find a way to get a 9 in this week.
I really like Foster, but the fee feels big - but then he was £10m or so, signed a new 5 year deal on promotion and now has a season of PL football under his belt so what is realistic? £18-20m?

If true, I hope the club put measures in place to help him with his mental health issues.
His move to Burnley left him feeling isolated, as he suffers from depression and spent time in hospital last season to help with his mental health issues.
Would another move, with a huge fee attached be good for him?
If we sign him, hopefully KM and co will learn from his experience at Burnley and help mitigate any problems a move can bring. | |

From a player perspective I like him. He fits the profile of player we would recruit.
Fee looks steep though. Lower fee with an option to buy and it would look a good piece of business.

I am usually just an observer on here but this feed triggered me for some reason. The bed wetting going on is something else. All of a sudden people would rather spend £30 million on a crocked striker, start claiming a striker they had never heard of before this morning is the best thing since sliced bread and are now claiming that Ashton is throwing money around now the shackles of the chairman are off with little thought and in sheer panic as we get near the deadline.

5 goals. 3 with right foot, 2 with left
33 clearances so would also help defensively. 21 were headers.
34 shots, 17 on target. 50% shot accuracy. 6 big chances missed. Definitely something there for McKenna to work with and if we can feed him more ammunition and sharpen that finishing rate a little we could have a good player. Do these stats suggest he wasn't played as an out and out striker for Burnley? No idea. | |

Most strikers miss more ‘big chances’ than they score, even someone on absolute fire last season like Sammie Szmodics scored 27 goals and missed 17 big chances.
Adam Armstrong, who is a good finisher, missed 28 for Saints last season. In the PL Mo Salah missed 22 and Son missed 20 so it’s not a figure that means a lot |  |
