I travelelled back to oxfordshire with a load of Gas fans and they couldn’t believe it, “worst this season”, etc…. Easy to say of course.. but I believe them.
Fa cup, reserve side, etc…. No excuse.. just sing!

It was a relatively easy game against lower league opposition. If it happened to be a much tighter game then I would imagine that the crowd would have been louder. |  | | |

Not a surprise really, it was more like a pre season friendly than the intensity of a premier league game. When you’re 3-0 up against a struggling league 1 side after 40 minutes it’s never going to be like Chelsea under the lights is it. |  | | |

Because, dare I say it, it was relatively dull?
A very straightforward performance, which had put the game to bed by half time. The second-half instructions were clearly to ease off, not to do anything silly, and avoid injury.
Bristol were never in the game and, as others have pointed out, it very much had the feel of a pre-season friendly; especially when the GK got substituted.
After the last 2.5 seasons, it felt weird to be at a competitive game at PR with zero jeopardy to it. |  |

It was a nothing game yet 27500 went to watch our largely reserve team on a cold day. Good effort in my view. I didn’t go and I’m certainly not going to have a tilt at those that did.
