He’s certainly a chancer, but he’d love to stick one on the establishment by being PM. He’d be utterly crap though, as he’s never served his constituents, nor understands the phrase public service.

Took master (or should that be mistress) classes from Johnson.
I was lucky enough to meet Nigel the other week,he was helping out with the local Benters councillor election.
I let him and his team park on my driveway, they had a walk about in the village.
Reform stuffed em.
They don’t like it up em 🇬🇧👍.
I don't really follow UK politics buh. So please can you explain to me Reform's policies? With so much support among the working class, I'm guessing Nige has great plans to improve the lives of the less wealthy. What are his policies for the NHS, education, housing and the environment?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to explain these policies.
Someone with Trump as their avatar extolling the virtues of Farage should tell you everything you need to know about the mindset of people wanting to vote Reform
Let's not send us the same way as those across the pond, ey?

I find it astonishing that anyone could look at what is happening in America and think "yes, that's what we want to have here".
The world is completely fooked.
I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun.
I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

Pah, those invaders were still ‘cleansing’ their land of native Americans when we were carrying out insurrection against our parliament. They’re Centuries behind us.

People want someone to blame for either their drop in living standards, failure in life or because modern day Britain is(in their heads) at odds with the Britain that they few up in - mainly white. The fact that Britain is still 90% Anglo-Saxon doesn’t matter as they see one brown face they see a thousand.
It’s easier to blame others and to support a hate preacher like Farage rather than accept the fact that they didn’t make the most of whatever opportunities they had. You know the lad who messed about at school, didn’t do any work and left school with no qualifications and ended up in a lowly-paid job, married someone he hates and has kids that will repeat the cycle. Not his fault, but it’s the fault of someone who lived thousands of miles away.
The irony is, that the tell-it-like-it-is mob who say that they take responsibility for their actions, tend to be the mob who get the most offended or, always make excuses.

I'm no fan of Farage but I guess his policies are something like...

There’s an element of that, but also people are getting left behind due to a lack of investment in their communities, the breakdown of traditional employment and more self-employed or gig economy jobs, etc.

There’s also the age old problem of being convinced to punch down by the very people who have stolen as much as they can from us. Let alone keep voting for them.
Plus a large swathe of people who don’t realise or care they’ve had it easier than others, they just want more because that’s what they’re used to getting.
The old Murdoch and cookies meme is an eloquent illustration of a lot of it.

if you were to write such condescending, dismissive, and hostile stuff about any other demographic you would be labelled a bigot. that more in common report on ' progressive activists' is well worth a read.
And so as the loose-bowelled pigeon of time swoops low over the unsuspecting tourist of destiny, and the flatulent skunk of fate wanders into the air-conditioning system of eternity, I notice it's the end of the show
