He was different class that day. As friendlies go, that was a quite competitive one and he shone. His form since, strongly suggests Frims is correct. I thought the same that day.

Yep, on the negative side of the ledger we signed Ahadme after Burton played us - he gave Woolfie & Edmundson (I think?) the biggest battering they had all season.

I agree with frimmers. At the time we were throwing money around like confetti. 2mil on him was an absolute bargain, you're never going to lose on a deal like that. Still, we did get Phillips (whose year wages would have payed for Tanaka). |  |
