I always like McAteer, think he is an excellent fit for what we want in that right winger and with Ogbene finding his way back to fitness and Burns still out for a while getting someone in to be able to play that role is very important.
Hope it doesn't change anything with Egeli, as think he is more of a wildcard signing too |

It's a big ask of Egeli to go from Nordsjaelland to spearheading a Championship title challenge week in, week out. McAteer may just help to lighten the load on him, especially with Ogbene still working his way back and Burns unlikely to be seen until Christmas. |
I don’t get that in the space of 3-5 days that we’ve spent weeks negotiating a big deal like this - we’re talking £15m+ - to see a deal being close only for us to say ‘nah, he’s not experienced enough now’. |  |
