1. If that was TWTD, the posters would (and should) be banned and the thread deleted.
2. Isn't the forum owned by the publishers of the Pink 'Un? Potentially legally very messy if something happened?

Actually you know what
By JonnyJonnyRowe, 17 hours ago in Main Discussion - Norwich City

Ipswich is exactly where dirty immoral rats belong, and lets just sort it out by getting one of our players to run their studs down his leg
About 5 weeks, we sort it out, just see that he's Alex Notman'd

FatCanary: Nunez though? I hope he does his ACL.

Hogesar: If one of our players ended his career....that would be ok wouldn't it?
I don't think I've ever felt that way before.

JJR: I wouldn't outright advocate for it, but I'd have zero sympathy.
He's then got his entire life to live knowing that he's got no club which a fanbase which remembers him fondly, no invites to reunions when he's 70, no invites on fan podcasts.
Just complete footballing irrelevance.
People who burn bridges like this often go on to really regret it.
Also, I don't want one of our players getting a straight red and causing us to lose the game. If we are going to do it lets have a 2 goal cushion and be well into the 2nd half first

Alex_ncfc: Hope he is as dogsh*t for them as Andy Marshall was when he crossed the border, who ended up with both sets of fans hating him.
Failing that, doing his ACL on his debut would be fantastic.
GJL Mid Norfolk Canary: I'd agree...but is it worth going down to 10 men in a derby?
This needs sorting out off the pitch....Think Figo when he left barcelona for real madrid and the pigs heads thrown on the pitch !
JJR: Sneaking into his garden when we know he's playing an away game to mess up his lawn and sprinkle a few Japanese knotweed seeds at the bottom?
Glueing his letterbox shut so the postman has to knock on the door every time?
Ordering him a takeaway at 2am just before a home game?
Writing "General Pinochet would be ashamed" on his wall in chalk?
Bury something dead at the bottom of his compost bin?
Somebody must know his address!
GJL: I second this...i hope it is an ACL , on his debut..or better still in training and they pay £7.5m on a player who never plays for them again
S_81: Slept on it for a couple of days now. Done some deep thinking about it all. And I've come to the conclusion....

Fu(k Nunez
Fu(k Knapper
Never sell your first team players to the Scum
PR gift for them
Void for us
Can only hope he gets a season-long injury

Hahahaha hahahaha!! FFS.
Playing for a better team, potential to get to a higher level, maybe move on again up the chain again, become a better player, win leagues trophies etc. But has he thought he might not be welcome on podcasts. Absolutely crazy. What's happened to football fans?!

Edit: obviously those wishing harm to him and wanting his career over in one game are scum.

I don’t think fellow TWTDers would stand for it. There’s be some serious pushback on anyone wanting players to suffer serious injury. And that’s before Phil wielding his banhammer if he thought the site’s reputation was being damaged.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Christ - embarrassing. They’re talking about a man who has changed companies in a job at the end of the day. Obviously there’s way more emotional baggage than normal, but that’s awful.

That's surely a criminal offence of inciting and threatening behaviour?

The total absence of self-awareness is hilarious.

Complete footballing irrelevance would have been staying at Norwich, not leaving.

I think we should cut them some slack. It must be pretty awful to see that name tattooed on the inside of your sister’s thigh every night.

I thought thet were saying he's sh1t, always injured and made practically no contribution to their team anyway? They seem pretty upset for all that.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

That is really, really bad. I would never advocate that even if we sold a player to Norwich City that we wreck that player's career.
Look at the fuss that Delia Smith made when she had a beer can land on the bonnet of her car. She more or less demanded an apology.
To suggest raking studs down a player's leg or hoping they get an ACL is disgusting to the point of being a criminal act.
Norwich City fans should be ashamed of their fellow supporters for even thinking yet saying such nasty, horrible, disgusting things.
Any minute sympathy I had with them for losing one of their best players disappeared when I read these comments. I hope they fall out of the bottom of the league.

If he does well for us, he’ll go down as a cult hero. Hopefully he’s the kind of player who uses this vitriol as motivation to better himself as a player

Fecking hell, the state of it. They sound like a bunch of blubbing teenagers who've been dumped.

Dumb, as well, if they haven't realised this just adds to our joy. The very epitome of losers.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

The irony if their replacement has an Ulrich Le Pen moment on debut now....... Norwich like to present as a family club but there are a lot of nasties in there

Agree.

As much as i hate to defend them, words on the internet (with obvious exceptions - racism, homophobia etc) have no power.

They have been humiliated and it's raw. They are also in their echo chamber. In the real world if they actually had the power to end his career very few would even consider it. This board would be in absolute meltdown the other way around and rightfully so, they've been utterly humiliated.

Truly impaired.

But as said, I think Phil would look very dimly on any wishes to end someone's career, and other posters would come down hard on them as well. Admittedly, I don't think we've had a transfer resulting in this level of embarrassment in recent times, so emotions would come to the surface, but I'd like to hope we're better than this.

As an aside, I'm surprised they're so disappointed over the departure of a player who many of them see as an average injury prone liability but there we are.

And it is quite amusing seeing some of the responses, think everyone agrees on that :-)

Are they still wailing and thrashing around about Nunez? We've had a proper big signing since then, so I'd kind of forgotten about the Nunez affair. Looking forward to seeing him contribute in a couple of weeks now, is all.

Haven't they got a game today to think about?

When I was reading the OinkUn yesterday a lot seemed to have moved onto the next (irrational) stage of denying that he was one of their most important players (probably their second most important) and making up a load of incredibly, ridiculously, childish, jealous anti-fantasy stuff about ITFC.

So now they've moved on to nasty, vicious, lowlife bile then?

Be glad when one or both of us has left this division. It smells.
