MM up to 7th in Championship. on 17:27 - Feb 13 with 5225 views | Herbivore | Hardly surprising, he's a very good manager who will get the best out of the players at his disposal. Pretty much the exact opposite of what we have now.

MM up to 7th in Championship. on 17:29 - Feb 13 with 5210 views | Illinoisblue | Peak bantz just a few months away. Scum back in the prem and Mick with a late charge to the playoffs inspired by Kieffer Moore. We are the joke that keeps on giving

MM up to 7th in Championship. on 17:29 - Feb 13 with 5217 views | chrismakin | No real surprise Had he took over Ipswich in the same position as Cardiff he'd have done the same, sadly we were way adrift when he came on board and the squad wasn't as good as Cardiff's. Lets see what happens there over the next 2/3 seasons.

Exactly. And of course when you’re winning and you’ve an in form striker is all well. But when you draw and lose and to a team with half your budget who get 66% possession and 21 shots to your 8 when you’re at home.... well things less harmonious. Why people still harp on about a a manager who’s time was up. Focus on the shocking appointments and missed opportunities that followed.

The fact that people still think that getting rid of Mick and appointing Hurst was the same decision proves how silly some are. I wish Mick well and hope he gets in the PL with Cardiff.

Include Phil in that as well. do you? Or Watson- both of whom have said that? Anyway, it won't "go ape". Those who won't let it go will go on about it a bit more, and the majority will just grow weary of it in the way that they were when "his time was up". Incidentally, Mick's reported as saying that this Cardiff side is "the best I've ever inherited". [Post edited 13 Feb 2021 18:01]

MM up to 7th in Championship. on 18:05 - Feb 13 with 4951 views | Bent_double | I think most of the grown-ups on here will be happy for him, regardless of whether they wanted him to stay here or leave. Of course there may be the added benefit of Cardiff beating the scum in the POs - long shot, I know - but that should easily be enough to win anyone over who still harbours any kind of grudge against him. Good luck to him and TC I say. Move on.

Definitely wish him and Terry well; keep Moore scoring anything possible. Cardiff fans pleased, but concerned on no subs when they were clearly tiring and whether if Coventry had a better striker their dominance would have counted.

Whilst I have the upmost respect for Phil or Watson or any local journalists, it doesn’t mean we have to hang on their every word.
MM up to 7th in Championship. on 18:08 - Feb 13 with 4919 views | stonojnr | so lets get this right MM is 6pts off 6th place, on the same number of games and thats "in contention" for the playoffs. whilst Town are 5pts off 6th place, with two games in hand on that 6th place, and as far as most people on here seem to think thats Town totally out of contention this season for anything but midtable mediocrity so sack the manager.
MM up to 7th in Championship. on 18:11 - Feb 13 with 4912 views | Keaneish | Why will it? Good luck to him. Deserves to manage in the PL based on persistence alone. He will have a very nervy wait to see if offered a contract though. Knowing Micks fortunes, they’ll likely offer the job to someone else if he does get them up.

We’d have probably been 12th in the Championship instead of 12th in League One. I think I know what I’d chose

We're 12th and in shocking form. In the third tier, ffs. Cardiff are on the charge in the Championship. Good on Mick I say, they were way off threatening the top 6 when he took charge and he's got them in 7th already.

More than likely, though 12th may be a little optimistic. So let's say we are another two years down the line of mid-table Championship football. Then what happens? Another two year contract for more of the same? Or is 7 years enough?

ERM Lambert has a win % of 32%, we've not beaten anyone in the top 7 all season and struggled to beat any of them last season Mick has just taken over at cardiff Probably why...

The difference here is that Mick is highly competent and generally gets the best out of his teams. Lambert isn't and doesn't.
