With three games in 8 days I think KM should rest s few. Especially those who are still getting over injuries.

Not KVY at LWB. He won't go on the outside, continually comes in on his right foot which loses us momentum every time. Harsh on Davis but he has to play every game until Leigh is fir again to give us balance.

I certainly wouldn't change the formation and I would go with the same team just with Ladapo up top.

We need to win these games, get a lead and rest people at 60 minutes.

Don't think there is any need to overcomplicate things at this stage with loads of changes. Certainly wouldn't drop Edmundson after what the EADT said was one of his best games for the club. The defence should be left alone in my opinion.

Also seems a little like taking Cambridge lightly. Need to go at then strong and put them to the sword early.

I'll be amazed if Keogh starts anything other than Cup games for us this season. Watching the 'Sunday Stroll' that town put out on Sunday with him, I think it's clear that he's been bought in for one thing only, and that's his professionalism, experience & knowledge around the training ground and squad on matchdays. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he became a coach here, whether it be the youths or under McKenna should we go up.

I think that would come across as arrogance and fire up Cambridge even more, to be honest.

The only one I'd consider is Edwards for Harness, but even that's a bit knee jerk just because KE had a good impact on Saturday.

Agree with the view that we start strong and take the foot off the gas if the game is in the bag at 70 minutes - and I think that was what KMcK was alluding to in his previous comments.

I also think Morsy is a good bet for a tactical booking tonight. Of course there is always a strong chance of that happening anyway, but there is NO WAY he is going to stay on 4 yellows until January, so I would rather he got his suspension when playing either Morcambe or Lincoln rather than Derby, who follow Lincoln...

Also seems fairly clear that a lot of his own focus is on getting his coaching badges completed and that he probably has more chance to do that (while filling the role you describe) if he's not starting two games a week.

It’s less about arrogance @nd more about concern for Davis and Fridge. Davis is one more kick away from us being without a left back until Leigh recovers from his injury and Fridge is still doing recovery exercises post game.

I’m old enough to remember our treble chasing season going tits up when we lost Burley. I don’t want the same happening to Davis.

Plus Ironsides has been a handful for all of our defenders in the last two games so Keogh May deal with his aerial threat better.

I'd go as strong as possible depending on what the fitness info suggests.

We've not had a busy fixture list through september, so they should still be fairly fresh(ish). I'd keep it the same to keep momentum going and then mix things up a bit more if needed at the weekend although noting that McK does already tinker around the edges a bit anyway, so 2-3 changes would be seen as 'normal'. Jackson might be back in, JJ maybe drops out?

I think it is a fair point and decent selection, but it is also fair to note that although we do not consider this a derby by any stretch of the imagination, United will be coming in numbers and will expect their team to be up for it. On this basis I would look to start Keogh and Ball to give a physical presence and big game experience.
Striker wise I would opt for Freddie to get him firmly in the groove and we know he plays well with Edwards on the wing.
