Although wishing a couple of injuries on Norwich in another thread yesterday, I never would wish for an injury like this on any player. I was thinking more like a few weeks/month out with something like a pulled hamstring, not ligament damage. If serious damage is identified as hinted above it could spell the end for Barnes. |  | | |

It's a shame for him and for the budgies.
Their strategy of signing ageing first teamers doesn't look too smart now. Even if barnes hadn't got injured, you wouldn't expect him to play every game at his best level in his mid-thirties. | |
