And hopefully he gets a good reception, and then hopefully has a torrid night afterwards!

I hope we consistently shoot from distance as we'll get a bucket load!

I can't believe anyone would give him a bad reception! It was a shame the way it ended but he was our best player for a few seasons

Would've thought he will get a good reception. Was excellent for us, POTS for 60 years running.

Hope he's picking the ball out of his net 5 times on Wednesday though

…a designated catcher on the bench for his goal kicks.

Get the ball back into play quickly and take advantage.

Always thinking, always thinking.

Always thought he was a very good shot-stopper, but not the best at crosses. Bit of a flapper at times. Might give Kieran a bell and bit of a heads up. Pepper him with crosses!

He's been POTS a couple of times at 'Wall as well.

I know a Millwall fan who lives in Ipswich who is always moaning about him. But he has a massive chip on his shoulder about all things ITFC, so we can take it with a pinch of salt.

I think it (the shoulder chip) comes from a life-time of abuse he's received from Town fans he knows (some of whom I know deliberately wind him up), so as a result, he can't wait to run us down whenever he gets a chance.

Wonder if he’ll have to travel up with Millwall, or if he’ll just meet them at the ground! Long way to go to then turn round and come back again!

Without him those bleak seasons would have been a hell of a lot bleaker.

Guy was making 3 or 4 outrageous saves a game. Deserves a good reception.

Could even jump on the Ipswich Bus at Playford Road to save some more time, get the 66 down there

Does anyone else still have the ST renewal letter from Marcus Evans specifically naming him as a player we’d be keeping for our big promotion push and then as soon as the renewals were in he was immediately loaned out and subsequently sold to Millwall, while we brought in Holy from Gillingham who had an average record in League One and absolutely was as average as predicted. League One on the cheap….

Definitely deserves a good reception, he won players of the season for 3 consecutive years

2016, 17, 18 - where he basically had to play superbly because we were so deep.

But man your right about bleak seasons. And I struggle to look back fondly on that period and players at all. Bar the Murphy wunder season - for which he was rewarded with player of the year in 2015

Awful times at Portman Road,

Ran into some Wall fans at a service station on an away day a couple of years ago. Raved about Bart, loved him like we did almost.

To think people sided with Paul Hurst ever....

Can he have no reception, a horrid night and then some well-deserved acknowledgement? I’m not overly keen on supporting opposition players before a match.

When the announcer says ‘and welcome back to Portman Road…..’, a polite round of applause from both parties, get on with the match and then applause again at the end.

I don’t particularly like it when opposition players refuse to celebrate if they score against a former club.

Bart made some of the best saves I've ever seen.

- The triple save.
- The Gordon Banks'esque save.
- He pushed one on to the bar from about 3 yards and then still managed to get up to claw it away.
- One from Tom Huddlestone that to this day I have no idea how he saved.

You jest but many years ago there was a famous thread on the Milwall board of a Wet Spam fan looking for “Milwall Tony” as he had beaten his mate up in Deptford on the day of a game.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
