I'm sure like many kids we all had a 'go to player' that you 'were' when playing football in the primary school playground, a great way of aging us too
Bearing in mind it was around this time that I relocated to Wiltshire I can assure you I was in the minority with my choices of Forrest / Stockwell / Kiwomya depending upon the position I was playing at the time.

Was that by chose or was it because your crosses always ended up on the school roof?
Bit of both probably. We were rarely allowed on the field so it was a tennis ball in the playground. If you were tactical you could cause chaos with the tree roots growing through the concrete. Cricket wickets drawn on the wall with chalk.
Good times.
