There is no hiding the fact the recruitment and the general guidance of this club has been pretty dam diabolical over the previous 20 odd years . All we can do is hope and pray Paul Cook and the new owners can steer this club back on to the right path again.
We are slowly building a new squad. It needed doing . This re-build job was long over-due thanks to Evans ridiculous ownership.

Think from 1st July for those players who for whatever reason let their contract run down will sign for clubs at moment while being paid looking for the best deal . Won't want to spend their savings. | | | |

If you are disappointed that we've not already snapped up Oli Hawkins, Stephen Ward and Thomas Holy on frees like last year then just have a little think about how that went for us. I presume you are also sad to see Dozzell, Lankester etc go too 
We are actually active and on the front foot in the transfer market now with money to spend and we are in the process of actually buying players from clubs that don't want them to leave. Proper buying negotiations take time, we are still only in June. Have some patience yeah? | | | |

OP: players contracts don’t start until July 1st. We have quite likely done the paper snd got agreements in place on 4-5 players , all of whom will be announced next week . We’re in for quality players that require a fee, not the usual Poundland , or the freebie variety that no one else ever wanted. We’re in the process of getting rid of the chaff from our own club ( you’ll have noted the huge queue of clubs running the length of Portman Road in the clamour to sign them, yer?).
Try and understand what’s really going on at this Club now. There is an actual recruitment plan, a structure to the club , the like we haven’t seen in over two decades (if ever!). Judging by your forum name I doubt you’ve actual had the joy of ever watching a proper Town side. One that wins things , that plays exciting, attacking football, one that other teams respect and maybe even fear . Well my friend , your luck is about to change . Be patient!! |  |
