My bank has started doing the online statement with the newest entry first, so effectively it reads backwards.

What is wrong with these people!!!!

New traffic lights where there was previously a perfectly workable junction or roundabout. Swansea Council are all over this. We've thousands of the bloody things now.

My bank has been doing that for years.

My recently 'improved' their websites.

I have gone all "Mrs Trellis' on them but been told 'it is unlikely to be changed in the foreseeable future unless there is a significant customer demand'

I pointed out Id emailed 3 times and have asked them to clarified how many times I would have to email them for it to be deemed "a significant customer demand"

In Green Party in Brighton have put loads of measures in place to with the aim of improving air quality

most of the measures have resulted in traffic jams with cars stuck or crawling slowly and hence air quality is worse than before they 'improved it'

My bank literally became another one without telling me.

Clydesdale Bank turned into Virgin Money.
I got a debit card in the post from Virgin so I rang them and said 'I don't have an account with you'.

They said - you do now.

Ipswich did that years ago and it made the road system so much worse than it already was...

Mine sends statements in one order and has the version you can print out on their website in the other. The printable version on the website also leaves out the final entry rather unhelpfully.

There are a few Traffic light roundabouts near me where the lights are on a timer all the time......

They only really need to part time timers in peak periods. COming home late at night and you're sitting waiting with no other cars about haha!

I’ve been paying my energy bills quarterly since I bought my first house as a 20 yr old back in 1994.
The lot who bought out npower get quite aggressive if you don’t pay by monthly direct debit.

Our road is often quite difficult for parking with cars parked both sides of the road - (See exhibit A
Been got by one of the little hitlers... by hoppy 1 Jan 2021 19:19
I came home last night from getting the weekly food shop, and there were no parking spaces near our house (made more difficult by one of the neighbours taking up 2 car spaces with 4 wheelie bins to keep it clear for a removals van) so I pulled up over the road on zig zag lines outside the school opposite. The sign states no stopping, Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm, so I know I’m in the wrong for that.... but still, to get a parking ticket on New Year’s Day morning when the school isn’t even open... so annoying.

Just recently, there has been a BMW driver living just down the road a little way from ours that when he's parked outside his house, he's usually parked a little way out from the kerb (so as not to scuff his alloys) and usually washing/polishing it on a twice/thrice weekly routine.

However, the annoying thing is, given the situation in Exhibit A above, whenever he goes out, even for a short while, he's putting his 2 wheely bins out in the road to keep 'his' parking space right outside his house.

Top tip. Accidentally set fire to his wheelie bins. They’ll then melt on the tarmac and make BMW parking extremely difficult.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Pedestrian crossings where the red/green man used to be on the opposite side of the road so that everyone could see it , They also beeped when it was time to cross.

Now they seem to show the green man at waist height where the button is, meaning that if it is busy your view of it is blocked.

I've noticed it seems to be spreading, as just came past again, and another of his closer neighbours has also done the same. It is the bin collection day, so usually these are placed on the pavement outside the houses, but this one is also actually in the road.

Just inform him that he has no "divine right" to be able to park outside his property. Also that his wheelie bins constitute an obstruction and report it it to your local council.

The house I lived in when married had originally been two tied farm cottages, the license people still had both addresses on the system, we got a few visits and letters and I duly explained their mistake and they agreed and promised to get it sorted.

About 2 years in this was still going on and my patience had gone, I used to be as awkward as feck with them after a while, knowing I had a valid license.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
