Streetlights...... 08:39 - Nov 10 with 2759 views | itfcjoe | I know they have cut down on these in the past but seems ridiculous now. Mrs itfcjoe went for a run in Kesgrave last night, just after 5pm when pitch black only streetlights on one side of the main road on, none on any side roads - she ended up re-routing to come back early as both dangerous and hard to run in those conditions. Surely you need lights on until later into the evening when people have got back from 9-5 jobs and even schoolkids have got home from after school clubs. I remember when they started switching them off at midnight and that was awkward enough - bloody cut backs!

Streetlights on 08:42 - Nov 10 with 2219 views | SitfcB | Surely that’s an error? Like you say, they usually go off at midnight around the estates and back on at 6am, main roads always usually on. Might’ve been turned off for summer or something and not been put back on yet for winter, worth reporting? [Post edited 10 Nov 2022 8:43]

Report it. The council do not have a team of street light checkers. The only way they'll find out that the lights are not working is if someone tells them.
Streetlights...... on 09:16 - Nov 10 with 2053 views | StokieBlue | I think this must be council specific, the lights here are on much later, I only really notice as it's annoying for astronomy but fully understandable, the lights should be on until the majority of people are home. SB

You need to stop worrying about yourself and start thinking about the moths!!! I might go and climb a lamp post in protest at your insensitivity.

We've got one that goes off and on whenever someone walks past it. I briefly wondered if it's some new thing where it operates on sensors but as it's the only one in the road that does it I'm guessing it's probably shorting out.
