Leeds Away 18:09 - Aug 7 with 4357 viewsyorkshireblue

We didn’t come to a reciprocal arrangement it seems - so will be £47 a ticket when we go there in December.

IMO anyone paying that is part of the problem.
Just don’t pay it. The message is then loud and clear

Looks like negotiations weren't helped by the old adage that 'Leeds would have taken more (money)'.

I’m sorry for being dim but it looks like to me that we’re charging £34 to their fans. Why couldn’t the reciprocal deal be that they charge us the same as well?

Think they wanted a £25 deal.

They will charge us £47.

Because we’d have to charge home fans in Cobbold Upper that price as well!

So does that mean the Leeds fans pay £47 if they are in the same stand/tier?

We charge them £34, they charge us £47 but we couldn't agree a reciprocal deal with them. Perhaps Ipswich will explain what sort of deal Leeds were looking for.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I hate Leeds and despite it being a localish trip for me, I'm likely to boycott that at that price.

Unless Snr wants to go and see the grandkids etc I don't think I can justify that at all. Scandalous. Clubs should get slapped with heavy fines for prices like that.

£25 for away fans in both fixtures.

Whilst the away fans are in the Upper Cobbold I can't see us ever charging away fans less than our own fans.

Oh really, that is a strange rule. So by the same logic, that means the Leeds fans in equivalent seats (at Elland road) are charged £47 as well?

Would be good to see our fans get orgaanised to boycott this one. Outrageous pricing, all the more so since away tix in the Prem are capped at £30.

Technically a small number do, yes, but away fans are shoved in the corner of that stand while home fans paying the same price have the central sections. And all of the equivalent seats in the opposite side are designated a family area so £32/£35 depending on the match category.

It’s blatant profiteering and they weren’t shy about saying so when they moved away fans to that area.

Actually need a few tickets for this one as will be back in England, so I’ll take it off anyone’s hands if someone want the points.

Is it that much of an outrageous price then? I feel like tickets were 25-30 quid years ago for football.

We should charge them £100 per ticket and use the money to offset the price our fans are paying as a rebate.

I remember us allowing Leeds 5000 tickets for a game attended by our German friends who were then subjected to racial abuse throughout the game. I think there was also some bottle throwing and vandalism. I think we should give them the minimum number of tickets at the maximum price allowable. No deal. How about for the home game charging Leeds £47 and like-for-like Town fans £47 to include a free ticket for a home game of your choice. I know it’s not realistic but you just feel like doing something and not supporting our team away at Leeds is not really an option for me.
