I see the WHO are now saying that it is morally wrong to give boosters to healthy individuals. We are damned if we do and damned if we don’t. A fortnight ago we were being told we were not getting enough boosters into peoples arms.

Same, but without the feeling crap bit. Slightly sore arm and slight headache (but that could be last nights wine)

Presumably that's to do with low vaccine rates in some developing countries? You can see the logic in that from a global scale. A bit of a hard sell at the national level though (to put it mildly).

The WHO are unfortunately a bit all over the place at the moment. They said that countries shouldn't close borders until more information is known about the Omicron variant whilst also putting out information that they thought the cases were mild even though there couldn't be enough information to know that as per their first statement. The reports from SA are changing daily with regards to the transmissibility, severity and cohorts affected. We are probably going to have to wait a couple of weeks to get firmer data from outside SA. For people that have had Boosters on 11:44 - Dec 2 with 1563 views | Steve_M | Yes, had Pfizer for all three. Slightly sore arm after the booster but nothing else, second one was the only one to affect me a bit. Felt quite tired and a bit run down the week after that one.

For people that have had Boosters on 11:46 - Dec 2 with 1557 views | TractorCam | Had Astra the first time and then Moderna for booster. I had the same symptoms for Moderna as I did the first Astra, chills plus my arm ached more than the others.

I'm here To OP - 2 x AZ, booster was Pfizer. No side effects apart from sore arms (which lasted several weeks after second AZ; was more intense but only lasted 24 hrs after Pfizer).

For people that have had Boosters on 11:49 - Dec 2 with 1537 views | JakeITFC | I had 2xAZ first time and Moderna last week for the booster, had a quite hilarious day of shivers and aches the day after but only for a few hours.
For people that have had Boosters on 11:58 - Dec 2 with 1504 views | blueden60 | Had my booster last week - Moderna. My first two were Astra Zeneca. Had more of a sore arm with the Moderna one but otherwise no other side effects. .
For people that have had Boosters on 12:00 - Dec 2 with 1493 views | Chondzoresk | Had Pfizer on the first 2….no issues. Then had Moderna booster…..jeez my missus and I felt really ill and flu like. Gone after 48 hours. It’s worth it. Get your boosters now folks!

I don't know about the morality part but there is a suggestion that because of the low vaccination rates in developing countries it is a petri dish for variants. There tends to be a younger population in these countries who don't get very sick with Covid-19 but are carriers. Don't think it should be an either/or situation regarding booster shots. There has however be many examples of governments donating vaccines near the end of their shelf life which is morally corrupt.
For people that have had Boosters on 12:23 - Dec 2 with 1403 views | Illinoisblue | Pfizer x 2 then Pfizer booster. My arm was very painful after the booster. Two days of serious discomfort. Unlike the first two shots where I didn’t feel a thing. Had flu shot on same day as booster. Vax me up!

Same here...plus had my flu jab in the other arm at the same appointment (and a free Cadbury Boost bar after - nice bit of marketing at the hospital I thought :^D) Side effects nothing compared to the AZ vaccine...just feel a tiny bit tired and headachey, and the customary sore arms. About 12 hours after the AZ, starting feeling ridiculously cold, went to bed and then started feeling ridiculously hot a couple of hours later, got up to go to the toilet and nausea was so bad almost collapsed and vomited and ended up lying on the bathroom floor to a) cool down and b) get there before I fainted and fell there... I hope you feel less crap soon! [Post edited 2 Dec 2021 13:25]

For people that have had Boosters on 14:13 - Dec 2 with 1174 views | factual_blue | AZ for the first two, Pfizer for the booster. Only problem with the booster was a very, very sore arm for about 36 hours, or so Bill Gates has told me.
