I quite like the fact that they hold a grudge, that's a proper fan.
They've got their own back on us a million times over though, so the level of vitriol is somewhat odd.
Kind of nice that we've been remembered for doing something different to stick in their minds. A backhanded compliment if you like. We've got a few things wrong for sure...would they have done the same? Absolutely, it's what fans do.
Would we ignore Norwich if we were winning the CL and they were in L1? Of course not, the history between us will always remain....forever...no matter what.

I don't understand given all they have done why they would hate us so much, even our relations with Bolton/Sheffield United are good these days! Maybe we should bring the banner out the next time we play them and see if they have developed a sense of humour or not!
What I will say is, in my teenage years, when all I had was cash and there were only limited online sales options, i'd catch the train to Ipswich to be told there were no tickets in the home end but they would usually accomodate myself and my mates in the away end, so the home fixture against Man City in the promotion season I was sat with them and to be honest, they were good as gold dispute losing the game! I think people were generally better about losing back then though. |  | | |

It's simply a few fans on the internet making something out of nothing. I know a Citeh fan and have been to a few away games in London plus European nights in Manchester, and he along with others I've been with seem to really like Town, our history and Royle connection, rivalry in second division etc. Very few fans actually give a sh1t about a comedy bedsheet, and that goes for Brighton as well. In fact, the only fans annoyed by Town bedsheets on any scale are Town fans, with regard the Magic out effort. And fair enough, that was a fooking idiotic and entitled and anti-Town bollix thing, and that fan isn't really a supporter at all. |  |
