It’s all rather sad isn’t it. Noticed he was very much singled out and bullied on here for holding a different opinion than others.
It isn’t as simple as that, but you know that. Weird that this has happened with the family threats, but an awful poster who just types anything that comes into his head. Won’t be missed in my opinion.

That's a complete misrepresentation of the facts.
Whilst I really disliked him being called out in threads he wasn't even on, which was unacceptable imho, he'd only got there by literally over a period of years posting incessant, almost daily negative takes - even when we've been at our high-flying brilliant peak - all the while ignoring some excellent & kindly phrased advice from tolerant people re toning his output down.
All he had to do was consider that it wasn't ITFC community minded to keep posting as he did - then those having a go at him would have immediately stopped. Instead he felt 'entitled' to only see things from his own perspective, double down & carry on, culminating in his wilful misunderstanding the view of Burns' father in a disrespectful manner.
Yes it's all rather sad, particularly the manner of his departure - personally I'd rather he'd reduced & toned down his output, & stayed.
I don't think that is fair, especially as you then go on to say that you hope for more positivity towards the team, as well as fellow posters.
I went to bed last night feeling slightly guilty for the comments that i made regarding Frimmers, however, the Burns family felt it necessary to step in and mention Frimmers by name.
This is why he got all the adverse comments, and probably deservedly so.
We should all support the club through thick and thin. It's not necessary to constantly criticise players, or a certain player.
I'm confident, as professionals, every player knows when he or she has a good game. Conversely, they also know when they have had a shocker.
I admire you Frimmers in some ways. generally you do receive a lot of unnecessary abuse on TWTD. However you stick to your guns, and ive never witnessed you responding in any way other than in a polite fashion.
Getting threats to your family is totally unacceptable, for this i wish you well Frimmers, and hope you return, in a less controversial form!
I think there’s a lesson here. The fact Wes Burns’ dad has specifically called you out for your barrage of abuse towards his son over recent months hopefully firmly dispels the ‘it’s just words on a forum’ BS that gets wheeled out on here from time to time. People have no idea how such words can impact people, their confidence, their mental well-being. I don’t think it’ll be too long before a footballer decides representing their country isn’t worth it because of the abuse they get from numbskulls online. Owen Farrell already has in the rugby.
I’m going to stop short of saying anything along the lines of reaping what you sow, as implicit in that might be the suggestion that it’s somehow justified to target someone’s family, which to be completely clear is unacceptable and a line firmly crossed.
Your posts on here are disgraceful, not least towards Burns. How you thought it acceptable to freely opine on McKenna 10 minutes into his first press conference with such offensive negativity was beyond me, and beyond me how you were allowed back under a new guise tbh.
You’re a tedious troll who should’ve been banned months ago and this should be a lesson to people. All that said I’m genuinely sorry if what you’ve said is true. That’s not on.
Troll gets his comeuppance. About time too.
I'm talking about being outed by Burns' father BTW, not the personal threats (IF that actually happened...)

Don’t write on the internet, especially under anonymous usernames, what you wouldn’t say to someone’s face. It’s a simple rule and one that Frimmers seems to forget with regard the relentless and largely swivel eyed criticism of Burns.
P.s. for clarification, my response to you yesterday about Broadhead and being some tvat on the internet was in reference to me not you 😎

We win together, we lose together;)
I've told Frimmers if he tells me who issued that threat we'll ban them and that if he plans to take any further action regarding it we'll do anything we can to assist him.
Deleted FB's account last night as I think a line is crossed when a player's family is upset by someone's posting and as, someone said, he caused reputational damage to TWTD. Also I really don't need the hassle of dealing with it, it wastes my time and gets me down.
I have to say I wasn't aware that the line had been crossed, perhaps as the posts in question were usually on a matchday when I was otherwise engaged and not looking at the forum. Seems one or two people had concerns - from posts and PMs I've received - but without alerting us to them.
It would be appreciated if people have similar concerns that posters may have crossed lines regarding individual players in future that they mention them to us. We don't want players and their families - a number of whom I've got to know via the forum over the years - feeling they can't come on the site.

Boss Bloots and Boss Blueas will keep an eye on it. Don't worry Sir!

In defence of Frimmers he was never abusive so not sure there would have been specific posts? It was more the relentless doubling down and lack of context to the criticisms. I suggested a few times he should give everyone a break for a few weeks but he was always insouciant in his refusal. This forum isn’t his personal playground and I totally agree with you that the platform needs to be mindful not upsetting employees of the club. Ironically Frimmers would say twtd is in chains and controlled by the club, arf… which nicely proves the point and problem many of us had with him that his opinions aren’t reasonable or grounded in reality.
Just to put myself out of the running . It wasn’t me
I don’t agree with 99% of his posts and frankly most of his posts on here are nothing short of incendiary clickbait , which I largely ignore - but going after his family and making personal Comments is beyond the pale.
It’s a shame anyone has to suffer this type of abuse, so shame on those that have done that .
Would turn into a royal rumble if some people met!
Had my own issues on here 10 or so years ago but have met, and know of, many off of here and all are decent enough and I’d like to think people think the same of me

Every poster I’ve met from here has been a delight to meet in real life.
Frimmers is Famous by Metal_Hacker11 Feb 2024 13:37 https://x.com/david_burns62/status/1756660740897886617?s=46&t=A4YCG_dsMY5Nf3qoacCQYw
I don't know if Frimmers is on twitter but if not then perhaps Phil can act as a go between in order that Frimley reaches out to apologise. Also, I'm pretty sure that Wes Burns dad wouldn't want people to threaten Frimley's family as a result of his tweet. The whole thing is starting to get messy which can't be good for anyone.
