Out of all the players we signed he has been the one I wanted to see do well. I had seen him play for Sweden and knew we had a good player. Hoping he is now getting fully fit and is understanding the English game. Long may it continue
He's a great signing , with great potential . Have we got the option to sign him at the end of the season ?

This is a good take Frimmers, not sure he gets quite that accolade yet but he’s absolutely class. He makes it look effortless too, little nicks to win the ball and a decent range of passing.
The combination of him, Morsy and Phillips with Luongo and Taylor supporting looks a good foundation for us now.

Yeah that flat back 5 was very noticeable. Our shape was so good today.
KM masterclass today.
He’s learning the PL quickly now.
Who else noticed that we played a classical continental style Back 5 zonal system, but with Tuanzebe as an offset, Right-sided ball playing CB, and Burgess similar on the left, with O'Shea as the holding central defender who covered?
Our players get in so many wrestling matches in the box at corners and free kicks because they are trying to hold a zonal position, and the opposition are trying to move them from it.
Re the OP: Cajuste was excellent.

Cajuste and Philips I think are strongest pairing?
I'm surprised people think Kalvin and Cajuste is best. Phillips is fine, but a loan player who is somewhat lightweight who has featured in losses like to Wimbledon but not in our sole victory. Cajuste and Morsey are the grafters in front of defence who stop the middle, while the surrounding players create and run. Stick with Morsy and Cajuste and make Kalvin work for his place back.

Agreed. Phillips of Leeds and Euro 2020 would be the first name on the teamsheet, but that's not him right now. Also, the centre-mid balance is best when we've a warrior (Morsy) plus a box-to-box schemer with a bit more passing creativity. Last season Luongo filled that role perfectly, and I believe he can still do a job at this level. But Cajuste is now ahead of Luongo. Phillips' poor passing cost us a goal at West Ham, a one-on-one vs Everton, and his reckless foul cost a red card vs Leicester (and probably the three points). Phillips is another warrior. He doesn't create our first goal at Spurs like Cajuste did IMO. I think it's either Morsy or Phillips in the warrior right-DM position, and has to be Morsy on current form.
Our selection should be based on merit, not on how many zeros in your salary, nor past England caps. I'm not writing Phillips off, but our best pairing for the time being at least is the one that started on Saturday. McK prob made big promises to Phillips about starting him in order to attract him to sign. But I think he's kept his side of the bargain by now, has been loyal enough through Phillips' mistakes, and now needs to back his judgement, because it's a big call. It's one I hope he makes.

I thought him and Morsy looked like a very good midfield partnership in the first half. And credit to Morsy, he looks more than comfortable at this level.

I love him.
Please stay up just so we can make sure we can buy him.
He had been very good and would be an absolute bargain at the apparently agreed price but I felt that today Morsy was better. I think that might have been his best game in the PL. Really knitted everything together and looked to drive forward.
Also an excellent saving tackle from the break from the corner.
