Lot of talk on socials about us going for an ex scummer.. obviously taken with a pinch of salt and is almost certainly BS, however there are a couple out there that could really suit us.
Ben Godfrey - similar build to Axel good rotation when he's fit.
Buendia - quality player and barely playing at Villa. Could be a good upgrade in the 10 spot and move Hutch to RW. Can also play out wide.

Wouldn't be unhappy, the guy has experience in the PL, only concern would be fitness as hasn't played much of late.

Ben Godfrey would be a really good fit for how we play, and with Axel having a poor fitness record and out of contract in the summer would be a very worthwhile pickup |  |

I could just about stomach us signing Ben Godfrey as he's not really Norwich through and through and good experience but i couldn't deal with Buendia. It would be very funny as all Norwich fans basically adore him, but that's just too close to comfort for me. [Post edited 3 Jan 10:55]

He left Norwich, longer than he was there for. No issues for me - and is a unbelievable player (when fit)

Think I could take that as far as Ex Norwich goes.
As a player, a perfect fit, profile, and probably fee.
Given he only moved for £11m in the summer, and hasn't featured in a successful Atalanta side.
