FrimleyBlue has gone again then. 04:58 - Jan 20 with 22991 viewsMK1

Clicked on his profile and it said "Error" Think that's a bit harsh if it was for his comment after yesterday's game, but overall not to surprised. He was ok pre season and a few games in, but his comments got worse as this season has gone on. If it's another little break for him, then I hope he has finally learnt from it, if it's a ban, then I will be slightly, ever so slightly sorry to see him go.

I thought Frimmers always took the abuse he got very well, and I very rarely saw him bite back and give the same in return. Hopefully Phil will have a rethink and let him back - if he wants to come back. I dare say banning him was perhaps done with not a clear mind after our ass whooping yesterday

Totally agree, he was made a scape goat.

He should be reinstated, or you're just going to let the abusers win?

I think one of the challenges is that the silent/quiet majority of us who can either read it and disagree without abuse, or just ignore it - can't compete with the noise made/created by those that are seemingly incapable of doing so.

I’m glad you’ve posted Swailsey.

Best not to throw your phone in the sea. My ski mate’s misses accidentally dropped hers in the Bosporus in Istanbul the other week and regretted it! 😃 I kid you not.

You’re mates with Jamie Vardy??

Fairstly, Swailesy, glad to see you back.

Secondly, I think Frimmers posts with pure emotion. That's why he seems so contradictory, and responses are controlled by results. It feels like people are waiting for him to post just to snap back, however. I appreciate yesterday was over the top, but so was the subsequent responses to him. I remember seeing a couple of replies where the poster played the ball rather than the ball, and these were dignified and respectful. But the majority were just an example of angst and annoyance. Everyone has different opinions; I guess it'd be easier if they could be discussed each time.

He had / has an awful lot of opinions for somebody that can’t be bothered to go to a game.

Someone who doesn't attend games is as entitled to an opinion and to express that opinion as those who are fortunate enough to be able to attend games. Moreover, your comment is insulting to people, like me, who are unable to get a ticket for a game.

As ever, there's a balance to be struck. Morsy recently commented on anti-Muric sentiment, and a sizable proportion on here (including rational voices) seem to consider that critical posts on here can have influence on players and the club. We know it has reach outside of the forum, because of the Burns episode last year. So either that matters, or it doesn't. If it doesn't matter, then we have a hyperactive poster popping up on every thread, at best disrupting users' experience on the forum and at worst irritating them with constant contrarianism, and the sheer scale of it making it more likely people will respond negatively; if it does matter, then it's an unnecessary risk to have someone so uncontrollably negative spraying it around the whole time. What's the answer?

Absolutely right.

It's like in real life when people act up and then say "you know what I'm like, I'm just a hot head" and assume that it makes it ok and people will just deal with it - but they don't

Frimmers has plenty of options to continue spouting his drivel. He can start a substack, or a blog, or start a podcast, or smear it in sh*t on the toilet walls of his local social club for all I care but there's enough people who are totally fed up with him on here for it to need to be somewhere else.

I stopped posting for a while because of him, I know good posters like PJH left the board citing his omnipresence, I think Stokie was similar and I know another couple of posters who have said the same.

The board and forum are generally great, one of it's weaknesses is the ignore function doesn't work that well but I'm not sure how that is changed on a forum to work well. But he was unignorable in the main

I'll be honest. When I heard somebody had been banned for constant trolling and winding up fans after a defeat I thought Phil had banned noggin. Far more offensive imo.

The difference is that noggin posts rarely - maybe one post per competitive game - whereas Frimmers regularly flooded the board.

It was an accumulation of irritation with the latter, as much as the occasional beyond the pale jibes about KM or players.

It's not a problem him having different views. It's just in the last few years he seems to think his opinion is only worth sharing if it's the complete opposite to everyone else's. If we all said the sun was shining he would be insisting it was snowing.

That combined with him saying I give my opinion in the moment and it might change five minutes later really makes you think it's not worth engaging.

Truly impaired.

You are spot on this and your earlier post, Joe.

I’m not sure an ignore function can ever work well if somebody bungs on a lot of posts on a topic. The thread is always going to get destroyed, sadly

Phil and the administrators do a great job on here and I think the majority are mindful and grateful for that. The small ‘you know what I’m like’ minority might like to have a rethink, if only for the sake of those who give up their time to run this.

NeedhamChris is about the most obvious troll I've ever seen on here.

Used to pop up in an awful lot of Norwich threads, generally a source of negativity and sniping towards players & manager when you look through his posting history. Loads of OTT criticism of McKenna. Continuously defended the divisive Frimley, also posts a lot during home games I've noticed looking at his posts, while claiming to have a season ticket.

Doesn't wash at all.

I've found myself not posting anywhere near as much as I used to do in the past 6 months due to coming on here and finding thread after thread after thread from him posting something, and not even having the decency to have a healthy debate with posters who pull up some of his comments.

It became the Frimley show and some of his posts were a disgrace.

Add the fact that he'd already had a 'holiday' from Phil, you would've thought he would have been minded to respect what had happened, but no, he came back flamethrower in hand, gaslighting the board.
