Nearly 20% higher than our last championship campaign.

I've used the 12 month DD option for years, so the increase hasn't really raised my blood pressure like it has others.
Each to their own but I think this is more than reasonable.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

SBR upper was 464 for 23-24 now 551 so that's 18.75% higher. Presume that's the same increase elsewhere.

Was up at £564 for upper SAR & SBR in 2017/18 though

Nobody likes a price increase but this isn’t outrageous in the scheme of things.

I assume paying monthly by Direct Debit remains in place? That helps spread the cost.

10% IS outrageous when inflation is currently around 2%

Disgraceful, however not surprised as we live in Greed Britain. Just have to accept every organisation raising prices if we wish to continue to reside in Britain.

Still okay value, imo on 12:43 - Apr 24 with 1244 viewsDyland

The moaning vocal know-nothings who turned up around where I sit halfway through the League 1 promotion season are far more likely to dissuade me from renewing than a price increase that's less than a pint of beer per month.

As others have posted, it's supply and demand anyway, and the club will sell out most games next season unless we do a Luton (which is really incredibly unlikely).

'currently' around 2%

2022 was 9.1%
2023 was 7.3%
2024 was 2.5%

Let's not pretend things aren't much better than they were either because they are.

And I for one am looking forward more to a championship season than I thought I would!

10% sounds bad but in reality it works out to be very little per game. That said though, what did we do the last few seasons?

I don't think the club has much choice either way, costs will have easily risen over 10%, if not higher.

I'm not too fussed, thanks to the DD system.

I just hope that the lower-paid staff at the club (especially those who sit just above National Minimum Wage) will be getting a similar increase in their pay.

Let's not forget R Reeves wonderful employer NI hike which undoubtedly will cost the club a huge sum of money. Wouldn't be surprised, with our much larger staff costs if that's not £1m extra.

Prices are still very reasonable, imo. Under £20 per game for an adult in SBR lower, if you pay by DD it's about £35 a month and for 9 of those months that buys you 2-3 home games per month. For me that's good value for money. We had frozen prices for a few years and I'd imagine our cheapest adult STs will still compare favourably to other sides in the Championship next season.

Surprises me that some people will no doubt get upset by this increase.

My season ticket has gone from £501 to £551. Okay, that's £50. But if you pay by DD it's only an extra £4.17 per month.

That's less than the price of a pint.

Happy to be honest , more games less costs but do understand that money is tight for a lot of people and budgeting is important.

My message is anyone not looking to renew for whatever reason that's fine by me , as I have 6 people waiting in the wings for season tickets and sure I am not alone.

I will be renewing 100%

Because of the 65+ discount mine in upper SBR has gone from roughly £26 a game to £17 a game.

Same for me. Sitting in the West Stand stalls, it’s just under £13 a game. The price of a couple of beers in London. Dirt cheap. I’ll cope with the extra two or three quid a month. I did an NFL game this year and it was well over £100 to see two poor teams mess about.

I don’t think the pricing is too bad for professional sport or entertainment in general and I’m really pleased they kept the cost for kids down. They’re the future.

Unlike things like utility bills that have gone through the roof, it’s not compulsory to go. Given the levels of unhappiness on here I might get the opportunity to move my seat to a better one which is good and hopefully people who couldn’t get to see the team this year will be able to.

This season it is £20 per game and next season £18 per game so not too bad despite the headline figure of 10%, good to see over 65 price still around 25% discount and under 23 just under 50% discount. Under 12 at £2 a game is great value to encourage the next generation of supporters as well. So overall still good value compared to many clubs.

I don't mean to be controversial, but I would bet that over 65's that are season ticket holders will be on average the most affluent demographic that attend matches, what justifies their discount?

The years of service they have put into following us. It’s a reward. It’s respect.

I’m not anywhere near the 65 bracket yet, but if the club were to ditch it in the coming years that would put me off going.

Pensioners are already being attacked and vilified by the government. Don’t encourage the club to join in!

Over 65s deserve it. Through hard work over decades they’ve put in to this country and propped up layabout scroungers like you in a lavish lifestyle on benefits.

Enjoyed that.

Seriously, I’ve actually no idea. As I’ve said many times, I’d make sure children got in for next to nothing and spare tickets went to genuinely disadvantaged people through Community Trust etc. that’d be about it.
