For what it's worth, I've got a pretty wide spectrum of friends and I would suggest that...
The vast majority if not all of my male friends would laugh or smile at this, a few of my female friends might smile, the majority of them would roll their eyes a bit (no more) and I honestly cant think of any that would actually be "offended".
Now im clearly not suggesting that i operate in the centre of civilisation, but i would put good money on my friendship circle being in the majority of the views on this.

Well, if we're talking predictable responses, Benters to make the kind of post he made followed by you coming in to commentate rather than participate would have to be right up there.
I've not commented on the OP as yet, no real need as a couple of others have summed up my thoughts. It's belittling and pretty basic, very daft sexism. Not worth a 6 game ban in its own right but the guy is a known pillock and the ban likely takes account of his lengthy history of indiscretions.

I regularly help my wife park. I'm more confident at it than she is, so often swap seats and will finish the parking if it's in a tight spot. That's fine. She's better at some things than I am so it probably balances out
If I made a little joke about it in isolation, then she'd probably find it funny. But if I joked about it when we're discussing something completely unrelated or brought it up in relation to her job, then she'd wouldn't find it funny in the slightest and would wonder why i felt the need to belittle her like that
So yeah, just sharing the joke in isolation with a handful of women is probably going to get you the response you were looking for. But start bringing it up regularly during completely unrelated conversations and I'd imagine their opinion would quickly change |  | | |

I have quite a fondness for dated stuff from the 70s and 80s and am not a fan of revising things in line with whatever the current worldview is, but to me the 60s was sexual liberation and the 70s was a lot of older men taking advantage of that. There are plenty of people more offended at a singer wishing death on the IDF than they are offended at the IDF actually killing starving children at food distribution centres.
Personally, I find both offensive, but the actual killing of children is a lot worse than a chant thousands of miles away at an over-commercialised hippy festival.
