The 2022-2024 squad would have spent every day at the hospital if they could have and, on many occasions, Martyn Pert was sent down to Heath Road to round up stray players and drag them back to Playford Road for training.

| That red away kit…. on 09:14 - Dec 15 with 1550 views | Bloots | ….is still absolutely appalling. It really annoys me that we have to wear it quite so much. It looks like a crappy Sunday league kit from the 90’s. The 3rd kit is much better, but too close to dark blue which means we can’t even use it as an alternative. ….and I’ve got to take my Dad Xmas shopping today, that’s probably the clubs fault too. | |

| What other 'hot-take' way to slag our team off on 09:33 - Dec 15 with 1436 views | MattinLondon | A couple months back, the ITFC Facebook page had a throwback highlights video to when we played Coventry and Pablo scored that 95th minute winner. One of the comments was something like ‘when we used to play fast attacking exciting football’. Think that was the final straw and I quite Facebook quote soon after reading that. | | | |

| What other 'hot-take' way to slag our team off on 11:08 - Dec 15 with 1070 views | goperryrevs | It's insane. The rhetoric is as if we're in the bottom three. We're underachieving. It's not quite clicking yet, but we're still in the playoffs with the knowledge that we have an excellent coach who given time is able to guide players to their highest potential. Entitlement levels from a few of our fans is shameful. Everyone knows it's not as good as it should be this season, but the so called 'insights' (hot-takes) into why just generally show an ignorance of the game. Get behind the team, cheer them on, and we can help it come good. Singling out players and management with constant sniping (however frustrated we all are at times) just creates a toxic atmosphere. | | | |

The whole perception and understanding the game thing now makes me laugh rather than frustrate. I tend to sit in West Stand, Upper and usually well back (L backwards), non season ticket holder but only missed a couple of ganmes this season. The amount of people around who moan when players don't play a cross field ball into space or switch play etc, shouting about how obvious it is. I admit, it is an obvious pass, as long as you are sitting in the stand, at an elevated position able to see the whole pitch without moving your head, not having opposition players close you down and 25K+ people shouting at your every move.

We should get him back to sign new players in January with Peter Reid as his PA.

| What other 'hot-take' way to slag our team off on 11:52 - Dec 15 with 909 views | baxterbasics | The problem stems from McKenna's massive overachievement with a team that (on paper) had no business finishing second in 23/24. We've gone from being more than the sum of our parts, to the opposite: underachieving with an (on paper) superior and certainly more expensive squad. This contrast has led to hyperbole and overreaction and disappointment in the face of massive expectation. | |

I totally agree with this. It has been said by many of us on the sensible wing of the support base, the sense of entitlement is rife. Yes, we spent lots of money, but we did not go crazy and risk falling foul of the financial regulations. The selling clubs knew we had the money and were able to drive hard bargains.
