Yet coming on here, which I’ve been doing for longer than most has taken the edge off the victory.
Phil, Gav and the team, this is a fantastic website, but a few are making it less welcoming and are jumping on every post that they don’t agree with.

As a rule, it’s really best not to use that sort of language towards somebody that you wouldn’t use to their face.
I haven’t been directly abusive to you and I don’t accept it towards me, whether I am right or wrong - the latter of which I often am. |
If you're going to randomly call somebody out, particularly when it's completely unprompted and unreasonable, then expect to get a hostile response back. I am not proud of my language but your barbed comments totally out of the blue not based on any actual post just a presumed general dislike of me as a poster have got my back up.
It's not the first time you've done it either. I get it that you have a bee in your bonnet about perceived negativity and entitlement on here but using me as your go to example for the 'face' of that is out of order and also inaccurate if you read my posts

This is actually a great side of this forum. People can backtrack, apologise, maintain dignity, dispute contrary opinions, and restore good relationships on the forum.
So many people post an opinion and just dig in, no matter what, burn bridges and crash and burn. There's actually no valour in that, is there?

Yes, you have been coming on here a long time.
But the fact of the matter is that had we drawn or lost this forum would have been totally unbearable for a couple of days. From the misery brigade we’d have heard everything from £150m wasted to taxi for McKenna. But unlike yourself, has there been a hint of ‘well done’ or anything positive? No. Zippo.
The people who are posting tonight are those that post win, lose or draw. Yes, the entitled are entitled to their entitled opinion. I just wish they were a little more balanced about it - but it’s a free country. Up to them what they gain pleasure from, whether it’s a Leicester victory or anything else. I don't disagree that Wally has been a bit of a negative flouncer lately, but he wasn't the only poster who called Libero a troll on that thread but the morality police made a conscious decision to go after just Wally. [Post edited 30 Dec 2025 11:37]

I really think you should re-read that thread if you think anyone 'went after' Wally. Wally himself labelled others with the phrase 'Only your gang, would out a negative spin on tonight' when it was simply a disagreement with Libero that he himself instigated.

This is not really very fair. Nobody went after Wally, he repeated the accusation twice and refused to engage in the actual context and content of the post.
Hard to see how anyone was the "morality police" and even harder to see how that is justified given it looks like Wally has had a post removed by admin where he referred to me as a woman as a form of insult. That post upset another poster who was very unhappy with it.
Wally was the issue, not everyone else.

Churchman, the Leicester comment seemed pretty loaded. You haven't said why you find the need to bring it up. What is your gripe? Again, genuine question, not trying to be argumentative.
Also, Bounceback did make the comment that they needed to not respond negatively to posts and be better going forward.

Honest question: what is your gripe with Bounceback? I think it is perfectly fine for a fan to support two teams. Is that what you get upset about?
