I’d actually play him as a 10.

| Start Jack Clarke on Saturday on 22:07 - Apr 28 with 1522 views | Swansea_Blue | He should never have been automatically dropped. He was on a roll and then he gets bumped as soon as Philogene is half fit and that’s the end of his roll. Seeing him back on form tonight couldn’t have come soon enough. He must start against QPR off the back of that. | |

He’s literally our leading goal scorer. Why would you bench our leading goal scorer in a game we have to win? [Post edited 28 Apr 22:13]

This 100%. Him against tired legs is unplayable in the championship.
| Start Jack Clarke on Saturday on 22:13 - Apr 28 with 1446 views | JammyDodgerrr | Clarke is much more effective after Jaden has run at a defender for 60 minutes, plus Jaden has a great record against QPR. No reason to change it. | |

Because he's scored more goals as a sub...I think. Plus, if we get a penalty in stoppage time I want him taking it.

| Start Jack Clarke on Saturday on 22:31 - Apr 28 with 1257 views | StokieBlue | He was excellent tonight but I do think that Southampton being knackered helped a lot, they were barely trying to tackle him towards the end. Certainly a case for starting him on Saturday but might be that finisher that we might need. SB | |

That's repeatedly not worked though? Would you honestly start the most important match of the season with Clarke as a 10 and without Matusiwa? We're definitely not on the same page when it comes to team selections, I guess we will see what KM decides! SB

Because he has proven to be very effective at scoring those goals off the bench and really affecting games when they are stretched against tired legs. Just like tonight. I'm not sure QPR will be coming out going for it wide open from the start. You don't base your strategy on a cameo. Good as he was, and I like Clarke, that game was ideal for him. Southampton flagging and the game completely stretched.

Think you may have missed the point. Resting him may have been crucial to how he's played when he's come on (as well as Saints tiring). But to say, "and that’s the end of his roll". Come on, you're being silly there!

Hell I was even thinking about Philogene as a 9. The mind does crazy things. If Stockwell and Kiwomya can do it...

Reminds me of the joke about Messi ahead of a World cup game Vs Scotland, tells the lads to have a rest and he'll take on the jocks on his own. His team mates aren't so sure so agree they'll check in at half time, just in case. At HT he's one up and the team happily agree to a game of bowling during the second 45. At FT they see it's 1 each so pop down to the dressing room to see Messi upset at the draw. "Come on Leo, it's not so bad, a draw against an international side all by yourself, you have to be happy with that?" "No, no, it's my own fault. I've let my country down, got set off in the 60th minute..."

Think he’s a bit too careless in possession for 10, and he does his best work facing goal. If you’re picking one of the twins for 10 I’d go for Billy. It has been a bit of a weird problem position all season tbf.
