I'm surprised that he's not been picked up by someone, although I doubt he would want to slog it in L2. I think there are better leadership candidates out there though, who are more likely to play, because he'd get torn a new one playing PL now. |  |

While I understand the sentiment and respect Sam for what he brought to us in League 1 and Championship seasons, I struggle to see how much he could offer to people who have for years played (and experienced leadership) in the Premier league, Champions league, World Cups, internationals etc. |  |

Was thinking that Leicester need a massive squad character reset by the sound of things. Going for Chappers and Wes, they've got the perfect pair to bring the fun, the drive and the camaraderie, if they add Samy too they bring the discipline and leadership. I'm 100% sure he will cost something in wages.
We don't need a dressing leadership, we already have that with the likes of O'Shea and Furlong. Go and look at some of the Town in 5 videos from last season and you'll see Furlong is often leading the motivation.
Also Sam was special but his dressing room leadership didn't help last time in the PL.
