Players you thought would make more of an impact after leaving Ipswich. 10:57 - Jun 5 with 5536 viewsOwainG1992

Lewis Price.
Just looking at his stats and he played such a low amount of games after leaving us in the next 13 years of his career.
I thought he was gonna go on to be at the very least a top championship standard keeper.

Poll: Apologies I'm bored. How many signings will we have by Plymouth at home.

Really? I always thought he looked a really poor keeper that only played as much for us because we were skint!

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

I don't agree with Lewis Price, never rated him and am amazed he got international caps for Wales.

I thought Ian Westlake would go on to establish further, thought he was a good player but never seemed to progress.

Tommy Oar - he could talk the talk but looks like he couldn't walk the, err, wing.

Kundai Benyu - currently at a second division club in Iceland after making twelve appearances for Wealdstone. I guess at twenty three there is still time for him to come good but the signs are not encouraging.

Cameron Stewart - Did the three quarters of a million that landed in his bank account from Leeds just stuff up his ambition or was he never going to make the grade? I always thought, despite almost everyone asserting to the contrary, that he would turn his career around. Turns out everyone else was right.

I think it's because he was young...and Welsh!
I may have some rose tinted glasses
Don't be surprised he had 11 caps for Wales.
We had nobody else available back then!
I thought Owen Garvan would do more too.

Agreed on Owen Garvan. Looked like he had something but never really pushed on.

Connor Wickham. He looked a real prospect but his career has just dribbled away.

I think Sunderland was the wrong club for him after he left here at such a young age.

I always liked Garvan too, though I think we probably saw the best of him here.

Expected him to become Englands regular no.9

Thought Lewis Price did better than what I thought he would after he left us, never really that convinced by him, but credit to what he achieved.

RICHARD WRIGHT

I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I wish we’d kept Wright for 1 more season. It would’ve benefitted us as a club and I doubt we’d have been relegated, also it would’ve given him another full season in the EPL with that intense exposure before making that move to Arsenal.

Ambrose.

Dyer should have done so much more.

Think Wright had limitations but obviously a decent keeper. Wickham similar for me.

Tom Lawrence i thought was way too good for the championship after his season with us. I think maybe he's a player that needs to have a team built around him or needs to be told how good he is.
