Hundreds of police
Sniffer dogs
Full bag searches
Police horses
Drones in the air

What on earth were they expecting?! I’ve never seen anything so over the top!

And police on mountain bikes… wondered if they’ve cut the budget and no longer have cars / motorbikes.

Makes you think that Police had a say in limiting number of tickets available to away fans.

I believe it's terms of the safety certificate that set the limits on away capacity which isn't just a police a decision.

Haven't you seen the recent behaviour of some Town fans at PR?
Certainly been an increase in aggro after games this season and police will share that information.

Sounds like Milan! Riot police with batons staring at politely baffled Suffolk folk - many of whom had brought their kids with them.

TVP love an opportunity to get the nags out - always have done.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

"Chad Valley". I last heard that name when I used to get a Chad Valley toy at Xmas in the 1960s. The brand still exists, although now owned by Sainsburys. I also never knew it was a district of Birmingham, where the compnay was founded.

Yes I arrived about four hours before kick off and was stunned by the number of police. One of the ones in the ground kept pointing their camera at me so they must have about 15 minutes footage of me waving at them.

The only trouble I saw them have to actually deal with was a few tickets for dropping fag ends on the floor, the flare guy in the corner, and I assume the failed crowd surfing twelve year old who I never saw again.

Similarly, but about anm hour earlier when they opened the doors. There was a bit of a queue, but pretty fast-moving.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

That won’t have taken long. The thing that surprised me from watching on iFollow was so many MKD fans choosing to sit surrounded by oceans of empty seats. Wouldn’t you choose to bunch up a bit and try and create at least a bit of an atmosphere?

Was in the upper tier in the corner and they had cameras filming all away fans too. When the guy let off that flare, straight over and kicked out.

The most densely populated home section was that football club that walked around the pitch. Think they must have just topped the home support ahead of the away.

There was a tiny scuffle after the Barnsley home game, you are exaggerating for attention purposes

Judging by the queues for / sounds coming from the cubicles whenever I went to the loo, I think their sniffer dog needs to go back to canine college….

That’s crazy, why? I watched that guys vlog thing and it looked like a massive family day out inside and outside the ground compared to the ground we used to take to London 15-20 years ago.

We spoke to a steward inside about this and he said "you lot caused carnage last year in the concourse with smoke bombs etc so the club are taking no risks."

There was never "carnage". But this highlights this so called football club aren't used to crowds or how excited away fans act. Franchise scum.

The police in some hard up northern town were reduced to using a hoop and stick to get about

That was ended when a number e#were stolen...... and the cops had to walk home

And some of our fans were at it again yesterday...lots of videos on twitter "celebrating' their support on the concourse.

Most will be back at school tomorrow.

I don't think we were angels last year.

A couple of stewards near where I was sitting got an extended torrent of abuse from a couple of obnoxious fans. So far as I could see, the stewards had done nothing to provoke them.

I apologised to them as I went out.
