A very talented player with good versatility.

Injury concerns though.

Wages will be high, and injury prone (I think)

That said, we need backup for Davis

Surprised he played so little as did show a lot of promise in previous seasons.

Can play the Davis role, but assume would be pricey for a backup?

If we can get him and keep him fit, he'd be a hell of a signing. Versatile as well.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

Won't be as pricy as he would have been if he'd stayed fit. Value will have dropped significantly.

Would be excellent cover for Davis as well as giving us options elsewhere on the pitch. Injury record is questionable but he's a very talented player and a good age still. It'd be a bit of a gamble but one that could be worth taking.

if you can get him right would be a masterstroke, but how often do these boy wonders who burst onto the scene then have a rocky patch, ever recover to the levels they thought of. Bale off the top of my head

More the wages I was thinking, rather than a fee.

I was thinking the same. He's reputedly on £55k at Spurs, His next contract, at Town or not won't be anywhere near that again, given the long term injuries.

Matt Allen (our Head of Athletic Performance) came to us from Spurs so he should have or be able to get a good view on his rehab/physical issues.

Don't think Levy would have him on huge money.

Also as mentioned above the fact he has played so little will mean his value drops further.

He would make a great back up for Davis whilst getting back fit. Very similar to the Tuanzabe situation last season.

Spurs are not taking up the 1 year option so he's available on a free

hes only 24 and was a £25m player 5 years ago so has undoubted ability and i remember him tearing us a new ar$ehole a few years ago when he played for Fulham and they beat us 4-1 at their place ....

Anyone worried about his recent 12 months of injuries ... just look at how Axel Tuanzebe finished the season after we spenttime getting him right

On the 'injury' front, not that much different from Axel.

Quality player.

Good point.

I think it's a no-brainer if the fitness issues are resolved. No transfer fee required (PSR win) and he won't be able to command a monster salary, but probably a very competitive one in the context of the rest of our squad.

There are some. CHO doing well at Forest now and Odegaard has been a revelation at Arsenal.

To a lesser extent, on the injury side, Tuanzebe was playing twice a week for us by end of last season as well. Having barely played for 2 years.

Low risk with high upside signing in my view, as long as wages aren't silly and add-ons linked to appearances.

Played further forward as well for Fulham didn't he. Wouldn't see him as Davis competition necessarily as he can play a number of roles. Just a very good footballer and exactly the kind of profile that I'd be excited to see working under McKenna.

Would be a decent shout, McKenna will sprinkle his magic stardust on him and turn him into a £25m player within a year.

Contract also expires at the end of June, so would be a feeless deal too

This is the kind of player I think of when looking back at Ashtons comments. The figures get higher and so does the risk, less room for error etc.

Perfect highly talented player but will depend on how risk adverse they are in recruitment. I think they would back themselves on something like this. Worryingly I feel like 50k is a very normal or lower end prem wage also.

Speaking of Ryan Sessegnon does anyone remember that game at Craven Cottage when we were 1-0 up and then 4-1 down in the space of like 5 minutes. Think he scored that day.

Good times.

Seen a few mention he plus a 10 role too. Some much needed pace for that position is needed, so yeah, would be a good fit

I read that and somehow saw 'Ryan Stevenson' and thought 'blimey, is he still playing?'
