Given we've had sod all to celebrate the last 15 years or so, this one probably pips it for me, just because I remember at this point starting to believe again that maybe it was our year after all...
Honourable mentions for:
1. Finidi's "overhead" at White Hart Lane (Can't find it online) - seemed to start or brilliant Christmas / New Year run that seaaon, that gave us all hope 2. Alun Armstrong v. Inter at Home 3. Wilnis at Home against United
That goal with the crowd noise is so much better in this video.

I was just going to post that one! Not a great goal but personified Mick's team that year. Battered for the whole game by Watford and score in injury time by a journeyman loan to win.We seemed destined to go up that season.

Dozzell's winner v Blackburn..... on 17:42 - Nov 10 with 1240 views
"Big spending Blackburn" we red hot favourites for promotion, it was a cold December night, late late winner. It was the first time I really thought we could get into The Premier League.
My mate sitting next to me cried.
TWTD.

Bent's chip vs Wigan at home could be up there. Also Bent at home to West Ham in the first of the 4 play off games between 03-05. Both mainly for the atmosphere that the games had in general and the atmosphere generated by the goals.

Too many to choose from, and I'm not that old.

Muhren v Norwich in the league cup replay, don’t know why it’s just one of those where one player (a certain other Dutchman) bamboozles the defence and arnold applies the coup de gras. Special mentions for Stewart’s goal in the play off final, in the cup semi final and thijssen in the UEFA Cup final

The ball breaks to Woodsie on the edge of the penalty area (forty two seconds in):
What the clip does not show is how much of a curve Woods put on that shot, I was in the East Stand directly in line with the trajectory and it practically did a ninety degree turn. Woods stood there for a moment unable to believe what he had just done.
Portman Road at its 70s best, looks full, terracing on 4 sides, there's a phrase for it.... Erm TWTD maybe?
To date, the last away derby match I've been to. The last-minute nature of it and the whole slightly dubious nature of it made it even better.
Plus I really liked Haynes. One of those 'a bit crap but you liked them anyway because they could do a job' players that we always seemed to have one of in the squad.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
Can't find it on You tube. A goal scored by Mich D'Avray in the 80s to beat Liverpool at PR. Absolutely fabulous header from a limited player, but the run down the right wing by Kevin O'Callaghan was just unreal.
Any oldies remember it?

Dozzell’s second against Norwich in ‘93. Not the greatest or truest strike but there was a bit of magic in the air and the North Stand sucked it into the net. Added bonus being Bluefish’s mate, Sutton got their only goal.
