| TEAM on 18:44 - Mar 3 by GlasgowBlue | I assume Greaves is in to deal with the threat of McBurnie. But he doesn't offer us the same as Davis going forward. edit. Mc Burnie on the bench. I wonder if KM had known this he'd have started Davis? [Post edited 3 Mar 18:45]

Maybe that was the thinking. I hope all our panicking is for nothing ans KM is again proved correct. COYB

| TEAM on 18:53 - Mar 3 with 799 views | Guthrum | A few weeks ago, people were saying what an excellent team a lineup like that is. Then we have another load of quality and in form players to replace them with after an hour or so. | |

Yeah, but you were gutted about Saturday's line up too. Doubly so when it won.

Have you seen the schedule? 6 games in the space of 21 days. I can fully understand the plan to get through that with the most consistently high levels will require a good deal of rotation.

| TEAM on 18:44 - Mar 3 by positivity | 3 of the players you mention are coming back from injury and the 4th didn't play between may and january. bringing back our top goalscorer and our top scoring striker, don't seem like weakeners! [Post edited 3 Mar 18:48]

Certainly isn't drastically weakening the team and every player coming in has played fairly regularly throughout the season. Hirst has scored 2 in 2 off the bench and looks much more like his early season form. Clarke is top scorer and scored in both of the last two home matches that he started for us. Walle Egeli scored last time he played for us too! Davis missed a match a week ago and must be considered not ready for another 90 minutes. Greaves will be playing against his old side. We now have a bench with Davis, Mehmeti, Azon, Burns and Neil all on it. That looks very strong to me.

And aren’t we already halfway through 7 games in 21? This is a brutal run.

The last time i got pretty worked up by mckennas line up and all the changed was away to QPR. We ended up winning 4-1. I seriously hope the same happens tonight or any kind of win for that matter. Have to trust the thinking but this really is a bold one and so many of the best performers from Sat not starting.

It’s a lineup that most championship clubs would chew their arm off to be able to put out. I’m going to finish my pint now, head over to PR and roar on the Towen.
| We have no village green, or a shop.
It's very, very quiet.
I can walk to the pub. |

Did Azon play better than Hirst? Did Neil play better than Taylor? Davis was out injured a week ago. I doubt he is ready for 3 full matches in 8 days. Hopefully Greaves rises to the occasion against his former side. Whilst Mehmeti was man of the match, isn't Clarke player of the season so far and he is hardly off form is he? He didn't look much less of a threat when he came on than Mehmeti had done.

I agree. For me, too many. In particular, unless he is unfit/struggling after Saturday I’d have played Neil, not Taylor. But what do I know? I hope I’m wrong. Usually am.
| TEAM on 19:09 - Mar 3 with 589 views | waveneyblue | As I mentioned in a previous thread - you can sense that a few "regulars" are getting excited at the thought of a damn good attack on KM et al. Its a bold move by KM, but I completely get it - 3rd game in 8 days and its not as if we are calling up the reserves/youth team. Fingers crossed the doom-mongers don't get their time to shine later this evening. | | | |
| TEAM on 19:13 - Mar 3 with 549 views | Daninthecampo | Hull have made 4 changes including their top scorer, im more concerned about Leicester on Saturday than tonight, so im ok with the changes, great subs to come on later | | | |

We won 3-0. Nobody has been dropped ffs. Are you suggesting Satmidweek every week we play the same team. He has to use the squad. He is picking the strongest team he feels based on all factors. If we were satsat only the team would be different. Boys coming in have to step.in and step up.
