He keeps apologising, but then saying "we". He refers to his role as Chairman, but not CEO.
It is clear he is not positioning himself personally in this, but instead thinks he can present as the figurehead Chairman. It's disingenuous and does not one answer any of the outstanding questions.
It is as we expected. A slick video of apparent apology without once actually saying who is apologising and for what.

If there are “mistruths” then this was an opportunity to call them out and show the receipts.
He’ll be gone in the summer when the owners realise the division it has caused. Possibly a footballing decision to keep him here down now and not create an even bigger distraction. Although saying that, causing any distraction this big at such a a crucial time of the season shouldn’t be tolerable. |  | | |
