It’s not the greatest apology in the world. It’s enough for me for now. It’s going to take a lot more for me to trust him again. However, he has apologised and addressed it.
Some of the apology just doesn’t ring true. Why would the board not have those policies in place already regarding politicians though? The “mistruths” line was a bit ridiculous as it made out that those were not caused by the club.
I don’t care whether he stays or goes. My position is that I support the club and will just put up with that smarmy little man as part of the club but I would not cheer or celebrate him. |  | | |
