Might be unpopular by Woolfie is our first choice RCB and I think he lacks the pace for this division. Hope I’m wrong mind.

If we're playing three at the back then having six centre backs on the books isn't unreasonable? Tuanzebe, Edmundson, Burgess, Woolfenden, Greaves, e.g. Mepham.

Although the continued look for another centre back makes me think that a back three is increasingly likely (and be interested to see whether they'd consider Woolfenden to be the centre of those or the right hand side of it).

Why Edmundson? He’s been a much stronger prospect in his correct right CB position. He defends very well alongside, Greaves or Burgess. The defensive pretender has always been Woolfenden. He vastly overrated by some on here, and there’s better CB’s at this club than him.

I heard that the issue is that we've offered tracksuits from Matalan, but they want Bukta Sport as the minimum standard.

I think his development has been fantastic under McKenna. But I also think, looking at some of the issues Lambert and Cook seemed to have with him, that it's a case of perfect manager for the player so, if and when McKenna goes, Woolfenden's development could stall.

I do believe there is an over-arching approach on here, though, that Woolfenden gets called out for things which other defenders in the squad get away with.
